I need help soon since I'm making this announcement in 15 minutes. I am quitting my job and only the supervisor knows. I am planning to send one e-mail each to seven close associates, saying farewell. I found two quotes I thought might be interesting. Since a few people are English speakers and a couple were originally from Spain, I found one in English & one in Spanish. What do these quotes convey? should I include them, or should I just be business-like (even though it's a friendly place):

I work in a small office building with just three other girls. All of the girls are wonderfully nice, and good at what they do. There's just one thing.. They're horrific looking! Two of them are well over 400lbs. The one who is about my size is extremely cockeye'd. I hate to be rude, but I cannot bare to look at them and smell the... smells. Do I quit my job, or tell them to take a shower?

There are 2 entirely different positions for 1 company that's available. I qualify for both positions and am interested in both. Would it look bad if I sent in an application for both? What would the company think?

Is there a recognised term for how trade unions have generalised the members they hold?

e.g. the transport and general workers union now covers workers in many areas (such as the service industry), despite originally being solely for transport workers and general workers such as labourers etc.

Hi im a second year student in the UK studying international business and management and Im wanting to ask if anyone either in the UK or preferabley outside of the UK knows of a foriegn company who take business students on work placement or if you work for a foreign company and you knwo 100% that your comapny is taking or does take student placement workers.

Ideally if you know something to do with the motorsport industry then youve made my day but if not no worries im happy to do anything so long as its a job that I can hopefully stand a chance of obtaining

I just got this job literally as a traveling saleswoman selling magazines and I absolutely hate it. Because it takes a lot of manipulation and persuasion. I"m not that type of person. So how do I become effective at this....finding a new job is a thought already in the works but while i'm here and until my new job comes along...any tips for me?

This company sent me a pamphlet through the mail and offers me a job stapling booklets. They are asking for $49.00 dollars. 43.00 +6.00 shipping /handeling and set up fee, which they say will be refundable. Not only does she stand at my desk for no reason what so ever, but she laughs at everything. She laughs at nothing. I can walk past her office and she giggles, I put a folder on her desk and she laughed or if she says something she laughs when she is done. It just doesn't make any sense, all you have to do is look at her and she laughs. She can be talking about work or something serious and she laughs when she finishes her sentences. Can someone please explain to me, why she laughs at everything and nothing at all?? It is driving me crazy.
