There's nothing unprofessional about confirming an appt. Plus, it will show your keen interest in getting the job, AND, you never know ... she may have forgotten or something has come up since she last spoke to you, so it's best to make sure that you are still on so that you don't show up because she forgot to call you. ;)

If you really care about getting the job you should call to confirm. It's part of an unwritten common curtosy. Employers usually remember those who call to confirm because it shows interest in the job, and its a convienience to both you and them when you can both be sure that the interview will not be cancelled or delayed. If it's still during buisness hours when you can get to the phone, give them a call, it will definitely increase your odds of getting the job.

Sure, call to confirm, not to ask. It would be more embarrassing not showing up at the right time!

It is perfectly alright, but don't ask for it, say that you are confirming it and say the time and day and place before they get to reply. If you don't call, they might think that you are unconcerned.

It sounds professional, and it shows your interested, and you're good about schedules etc. Also, if she forgot or made another appointment it will remind her as well.
