Greet your audience, tell them who you are and what you are going to be presenting to them. Then GO GO GO!

Lots of people will start a presentation with a joke or story. This should make the audience laugh, lighten up and tend to enjoy the presentation more.
Since you did not say what the presentation was on or the age and type of audience it is more difficult to be more specific.

It's always good to open with a joke, especially if it has some relevance to your intro.
