I work in a small office building with just three other girls. All of the girls are wonderfully nice, and good at what they do. There's just one thing.. They're horrific looking! Two of them are well over 400lbs. The one who is about my size is extremely cockeye'd. I hate to be rude, but I cannot bare to look at them and smell the... smells. Do I quit my job, or tell them to take a shower?

Body odor is a reason to let people go and I have worked with some of them too. You can complain to your boss and he can have a talk with them. If that's not an option you can tell them to shower but expect that your working conditions will change after that. Therefore if it is as bad as you've described then the other option is to give your notice and state in your notice why you are leaving, maybe that will get the ball rolling with your boss.

In stead of cutting them down. you have to face the problem head on. I once worked with a lady that had a "lazy" eye and I would stare at it ALL the time until one day she caught me and i just asked "what happened to your eye" she told me and that was that an dit never bothered me again. Now as far as the fullfigured woman.........would you be discriminating? say hey i started this new thing where I am trying to live a healthier life style and start walking together during lunch and for the smell buy candles if they ask whats up then say it is just to liven up the place but being rude will get yoiu fired I know you dont want that, right? rememeber how would you want to be handled if it were you?

okay i'm back. you should pretend you are on a diet and it might inspire them to lose weight.
as for the smells go to a "bath and body works" store or something like it that sells fragranced lotions, body washes, etc and pick up a small gift basket for each of them and get the trial size hand sanitizers and keep them at your desk so they can realize how good you smell and come over to try them out.
if all else fails...quit!

in a way you should enjoy being the best lookin and smellin the best its better than bein bottom of the pile how do you think they feel ?
