i need help asap im trying to get my resume together and im terrible with wording it. my previous job i was resident manager of a victorian style apartment complex with 6 homes converted into anywhere from 4-7 apartments in each house. i brought it up to 100% occupancy from only about 40% . i initiated upgrades, i.e. pavement of entrance drive into village, laundry facility, coke and snack machines. and got them prepared for install. responsile for cleaning apartments on move-outs, scheduled appointments to show for potential residents, and accomedated walk-ins, move-in inspections, responsible for collecting rent monies and starting the eviction process if necessary. i was basically a do all. this was also 6 years ago and nowim tryin to get a job as an assistant leasing manager, and im not sure of the responsibilities involed and what they want to see on my resume. i also need an objective. Thank you guys so much in advance.

'm a college student who really needs some money. Recently, I got a $6.50/hr job offer at my school's library.

I was just about to start working there when this person from another job that pays $8/hr called me to offer me a position. Because I'm work study and very poor, I need as much money as possible.

So, how do I tell the $6.50/hr people that I can't work there anymore without being undiplomatic. They were expecting and excited to see me start working tommorrow.

I worked at a job for 3 months and left because my boss treated me horribly. I have had several interviews and when they ask me why I left my last job I tell them the truth. I tell them that it got to be too much for me when my boss would come in and cuss and yell at me. The problem is I have not gotten a call back for second interviews. Should I just take it off of my resume and pretend it never happened? It looks good because I was an office manager but I think it is actually costing me potential jobs. Please help!!!

We are losing our house to forclosure. We lost both our cars, and now have got another. Just one though. I lost my fairly good paying job. 10 and hour with all the overtime I wanted. Hubby's job got cut in half. That's where we ran into trouble. Anyways, it's tax time and we should be getting a good return. We have the opportunity to open a restaurant with most of the stuff we will need already in it. (We are talking right now to the people who own the building with what's in it, for renting it monthly) But, the only way to "start" this business would be with our tax refund. This is something I'v always wanted to do. I will be doing the majority of the work. Very little help is going to be required. And, I have 3 teenagers who want to work there and help. So payroll wont be a big problem. Forclosure is in the end of April. I'v worked in restaurants for 20 years. And I really feel I can make this work....to help us for the long run. Or, use the money to move now?

2 weeks ago I accepted an job offer that will begin my career. I interned with this company before, so I have established good relations with the employees.

After accepting the offer, we set my start date to this Monday, Feb. 12th so I'd have time to find a place. But after a long, frustrating apartment search, I realized that the good deals with a Feb 1st lease are rented but there are plenty of great places starting March 1st. So I ended up finding a great deal, but won't be able to move in until March 1.

Now I am thinking about what I'm going to do for the 2.5 weeks. I've considered staying in a hostel or rotating around friends couches. Both of these options are do-able, but my parents have suggested that I should just ask to push my start date back to March 1. This would be great, but I'm worried about making a bad impression. I don't want it to seem like I don't reallywant to work there. Do you think I should listen to my parents or do you have other suggestions

At 1st he was nice to me. But when he realized that I wasn't interested in him sexually, he started treating me like crap. He already get's paid 2 dollars an hour more than me and has a job that he can walk away from (I can't). He's supposed 2 watch this machine, but he leaves it and watches TV every single night (3rd shift). Ok, fine. But then on the 1 or 2 days a week when he's supposed 2 do something (clean the machines), he leaves me 2 do it all and watches TV, or even worse, LEAVES W/O CLOCKING OUT. Well, I'm supposed to HELP him on those days, but I end up in there alone for HOURS while he's off wherever. And one night my friend came in early and seen that he was gone for 2 hours and told the boss in the morning. The boss checked the time cards and seen that he never clocked out but when confronted, he denied it all. Then he came up and told me that he was gonna get his girl to beat my friend up. And we told but they're saying it's hear say. Isn't this illegal? What can I do?

I just interviewed with two different companies and they both want me to go back for a second interview, my question is why do I need another interview for the same job? One hiring manager said that he was just a screener and that it was good that I got through him, the other one gave me some B.S. that I will have to interview with some of the staff to see if I can get along with the people working there. I have no experience and just graduated. So my real question is that are they telling me B.S. and stringing me along or do all interviews have a call back second interview? Also is a promise to get a call back good?

So I have been working at this bank for like 9 months now(mind u I have no previous banking experience), and my previous manager was fired after like 3 months of me working here. So we had no manager forever, and I had to learn really fast everything (because im the only teller/FSR here) So then, they hired a branch manager and she has been working here for like 4 months now. I like her, but this really annoys me that she is even called my manager, when I do everything at this branch. In fact, she told me that everything in operations is my responsibilitynow. So now i am in charge of the ATM, The Vault, wires, opening accounts, tellering, answering phones. The only thing I dont do yet is consumer loans (which they are sending to training for soon.) and now she told me I will even be doing the audits..lol I told her I wanted to be paid like a manager (nicely) but she said well you have to start doing the job first before your promoted. I just need some advise, thanks.

I'm meeting with a couple today for an interview at their house so they are able to decide if I should watch their children during the day for them, if they want to hire me.

I'm very shy and since it's a "family dinner" I'll have to talk and what not does anyone have any tips on what I should do or if I should bring anything? I've never been to an interview like this.
