We are all selling ourselves for a living if you think about it. In a job interview you have to sell yourself and your talents to the interviewer. In a sales pitch, the sales rep is not only selling the product they are selling themselves as believable to the customer. As a finance person, I have to sell it to my peers that I know what I'm talking about. Just 'selling yourself' is pretty broad.
