Most companies do that. On my last job, I met with the HR lady first (to screen out the unqualified people). The second interview, I met my boss.
A second interview means that they are seriously considering you and as long as they want you on, they will give you an offer at the end of the interview or a day or 2 later.
Go on both second interviews and tell them both that you are considering another offer as well.
Stick with it and you will have a job soon!

A call back is a good thing...If they didn't call you, you definitely wouldn't have got the job.
Both reasons for call back are valid.
The first , where a "Screener" was used is popular, when hundreds apply for a job, the screener, cuts it to a manageable number be rejecting some applications and then interviewing the promising ones, then recommending a few to the real hiring guy, who is much to busy to bother with the whole process.
The second one, with wanting staff input, is even a better reason. If I was a boss in a team environment, I want my staff to work well with each other and not have personality clashes mess up the system.. I think this one is the most positive of the two

Hi I'm a recruiter, welcome to the working world. This is far from BS and you might want to change your attitude on that. You should be proud that you made it to the second round. Most positions require more than one interview. The first time you might meet with HR or you might meet with the hiring manager. When you pass that stage, the finalists will go on to meet other people involved. Sometimes this will be higher ups who only meet finalists, sometimes it will be to meet with the staff you'll be working with. Their input is very important too and it's a good sign that the company wants feedback from people you'll be working with, it means they care about work environment and how people get along at work. They might ask you some of the same questions. Again here, this isn't to frustrate and insult you, it's to test your answers or because each person meeting you will gather their own opinion before they all sit down and talk. It's a great sign to get two 2nd interviews, you must be a great candidate. Since you're new to this, just relax and meet the process with a positive attitude. The more experience you get the longer the interview process becomes and the more people you have to meet.

Most positions I have ever interviewed for required a second interview (or more)-- I have had as many as four. Depending on the level of the position, the first person you interview with is typically a recruiter, the second person would likely be the person you would directly report to if you got the position, additional interviews may be with that person's supervisors, etc. Additionally, they may be considering you for multiple positions and the next interview may be with a different person for a different job (although, likely they would tell you if they were considering you for a different position). Typically, the second interview is merely a formality, but not always. If that person does not like you, you will not get the job. But if they are nuetral to positive about you, they will likely hire you based on the recommendation of the person you first interviewed with.

It sounds as though the potential employers are going to be sorry they asked you back for a 2nd interview. It isn't BS, so drop the attitude. Trying to figure out if someone is going to fit well with the already existing corporate culture is a good idea. I've hired the occasional oddball and had them last only a few months and then have to deal with the fallout from the problems they've created. Why would someone string you along without the intention of hiring you, they would only be wasting their time. Your time is extraordinarily unimportant to them. If you have no experience and just graduated, you might want to exercise some personal humility.

Call backs are a great sign and they are common. There is often a screener interviewer and you go back to interview with the people you will work for.

Yes, I would think them calling you back for a second look is a great thing. Maybe they have picked the top candidates and want to see you again to make the final decision.

i have google mapped the area (not acquainted with liverpool previous the kenny i'm afraid) it type of feels the nearest practice station is BroadGreen you may prefer to flow on your nearest bus end and if that's not revealed their in basic terms ask between the bus drivers, they are continuously effective ;] good success on your pastime I wish I had one!
