It seems I won't let myself be happy, or rest.

I don't have any peace, I always want to make more money, drive a better car, and live in a better house.

I'm always high strung, and can't relax.

Is this healthy ?

...who is pretty ugly was infatuated with the boss, "Leo." I had no interest in Leo, who is a married man. Still, Brunhilda wanted me gone so bad she could taste it. Every time I made a mistake, Brunhilda would run and tell Leo. She would also go into Leo's office and make fun of me and laugh at things I said. Well, soon after, I was fired. Leo said that he loved my work ethic and professionalism, but had made mistakes (which were overblown by Brunhilda). What are some good revenge ideas to give Brunhilda what she deserves.

How do you get into a certian field, when you have not previously been employed in that field?
How do you regain reference for a job, when you lost them and none can be found?
How do you get a job in another state, without residing in that state?
How do you go from unemployed to employed, when you have been unemployed for so long?

That's me. I have a degree. I was employed, but left on good pretenses, or so I would like to think so. I took a couple of years off to try to get into another field, so now it seems pretty much impossible to go back to doing what I was once doing. I am stuck in a never-ending cycle of Catch-22's and it keeps getting worse.

It's hard to even try, for fear I will keep hearing the same old same old. There seems to be no way out.

What are the effects of both options in regards to taxes? I have quite a number of vacation days saved up and will probably leave the company this year so I wanted to know which was most beneficial for me. Thanks in advance.

Which do you think overall is the better career choice? A nurse or secondary teacher? Anybody have any useful info on either one? Also, is going to college for nursing better than just going to a trade school for it? Or is there not much of a difference? Which one is easier?

I'm looking to quit my job. Ultimately, i'm pretty unhappy there. It's a very unprofessional organization, and the people who work there don't actually work. To cover their own bases, since I am pretty much the only person doing the work there, they have been blaming the lack of progress on me.

I am currently seeking new employment to begin asap. When I find a job, my goal would be to resign and leave immediately. While I didn't sign an official contract, I did sign a handbook stating that employees must give 2 weeks notice prior to resigning.

Is there a loophole to the 2 week notice rule? The only thing that I could come up with is a Dr's note saying that the stress that 2 weeks on the job would bring me could be harmful to my health. Is there a more sound way to do this? For those of you in the legal field, I live in New York City.

Thanks so much!

The problem is that one is junior to another, if I bypass the junior boss to the senior boss the junior boss did not like that. If I go thru with the junior boss it takes time to make immediate decision. I am frustrated....

Hi. In one night of thieving I make around £250. It sucks as many make a lot more than that, but as I'm cautious and dont like getting arrested It is ok with me. I sell the goods online. I am off 4 out of 7 days a week and bought a house at 25 without a mortgage. I go on holiday 4 times a year and drive a souped up MR2.

Believe it or not I am also a company director and computer engineer, so when in contract I wake up early, when out of contract I thief and make more money.

To think of all those dumb people that spend their lives working only to pay off their mortgage. Do you know a better way to make something from nothing?

My employer recently sent out a memo stating all phones should be answered : "xyz corp, my name is James, How may I help you"?

I am not comfortable saying my name, as the nature of the business is dealing with the public, and we must address many complaints.

Can I be forced to identify myself, and is there some privacy law that pretains to this that I can show my boss?

I just needed to rant!! My boss "appears" to be SO nice and SO cool and laid back, sure take all the time you need, hey no problem, I want this to be a fun place to work! You know, on and on.

BUT - he wants to give me advice and help with the ways of the free world. BUT when I actually NEED help, with a project or an assignment, I ask him to review it or go over this or that with me, he says "nah its fine" or "it looks good". I KNOW its all wrong and we could lose a HUGE client if its a mess!!

He offers help when I don't need it, but when I do, he's all blah blah blah.

Ugh -

But I can wear what I want to work, we both smoke and there are other perks. I should just learn to smile and nod, right?
