Kill her with kindness. She isn't worth your time or energy. I came from the same situation about one year ago. There are puppets in every place of business that pull the strings of the ones that matter.
It still irks my old boss when I see her that I am so nice and friendly. If it's not appearing to bother you, it's really bothering them. I resigned due to the very same reason you were fired.
However, in the past I sent (as being an accountant myself), I sent a book to a girl I trained to replace me, "Accounting for Dummies". It was hilarious. She had been talking about me behind my back to other employees. So, instead of saying a word, I sent her a package to work with no return address. Maybe you can find or create something like "Receptionist Skills for Dummies". But, with you not there it may not be quite as enjoyable (unless you have a cohert on the inside to relay her reaction).

Leave her alone, and let her get together with Leo. He doesn't sound like such a prize, so by gettin' freaky with him, she'll probably get what she deserves! And Leo, for being such a spineless wimp who takes everything Brunhilda says as gospel without finding out for himself, will suffer from a messy divorce that bankrupts him. Brunhilda finds herself on the unemployment line, and ends up moving back in with her incredibly irritating parents until she's eighty-six. Sweeeeet.
Okay, seriously? Revenge sounds wonderful at the moment, but you won't have too many jobs where everybody likes you and there isn't at least one person out to get you (although I'm sure you're very likable!). Treat this as a life lesson -- cover your butt at your next job, and ensure that no one has the capacity to yank the rug out from under you again. Make sure that your next boss is not just told of your mistakes, but inform him/her of your triumphs, too.
This situation sounds like it totally sucks, and I feel for you. Unfortunately, taking a true revenge on Brunhilda just brings you down to her slimy level, and you're a better person than that. Go out, get a much better job, and thank your lucky stars that you longer have to work in the same office as such a pathetic, homewrecking gossip.
Good luck! :)

You just need to leave it alone. She will get her's in the long run. What goes around comes around. I know it is hard, I lost a job because of another employee, and have not recovered financially since, but I would not be in any better shape if I had taken revenge. I know, I know, it will make you feel better, but do not stoop to her level. Forget it!!!!!!!!!!! She will get her judgement in the end. You will be the better person for not taking revenge.
Good luck

Move on - People like that live a small life. Their revenge is everytime they look in the mirror.
Revenge thoughts hurt you and actual acts of revenge will hurt only you.
Be good - and move on - and be strong and you will get a new better job.
Hate and revenge feelings just distract you from the good things in life.

Revenge is very unprofessional and very immature. Be a bigger person than Brunhilda. Let it go.

I know you really want to "get her", but don't. Life has a way of taking care of people like this and often does a far better job than you ever could.
