Im a Computer Engineer by education. but my first (current) job is as a receptionist *** secretary. i have been at this job for 1.5 years. the IT manager recently gave me a choice of 2 great offers, but im very confused what to do. the first choice was to be his right-hand, where i get to assist him and implement all his innovative ideas for the department that no other dept is doing in the company. i'll handle database too plus learn cisco products and lots of new things from the manager.
second option is to go into IT pre-sales and i'll be one of the 3 people (yet to be taken into the company) under a Pre-Sales team leader.
im a bit shy-kinda person and i wud like to avoid any kind of group-interaction or presentations, etc.
i dont know what to choose. what is the most suitable (IT-related) title for the first choice & the most appropriate salary. please help. this is urgent. my mind tells me pre-sales is best for me as im a computer engineer but my heart tells me otherwise.

I am worried that my boss has submitted my report to senior management and will take full credit for my ideas. I had sent my boss some ideas that i had came up with to be able to manage the staff better. Then, I noticed that we received a memo with all my ideas. I feel that he is taking credit for something he didnt create. I had been sending emails to my boss about it and he doesnt reply. What should I do? Should I confront? Please help.

I'm currently studying three specializations. I'm studying a major in Spanish (with teacher certification) with a minor in French Language and Translation + An associates degree on Spanish Translation. Im 17an whats th and on the virge of dropping out and just getting my GED But is there any job out there that dont accept those who have a GED instead of a diplomia. I'm trying to fill out a job application form. On the form, I was asked about my education. The list of questiions are:
school name, school address, education level, years completed, did you graduate?, degree earned, and major field of study.

What does "years complted" mean and how should I count the education years?
I asked my frineds but they aren't sure about it.
Could anyone please help me out??
