what are some good ways to make money other than a job. I need a very flexible schedule

I work as a hostess as Ruby Tuesday. When I started, I was told I'd make $3 an hour plus comission on how much food is sold. The manager said the comission was good money.
But I've been there for a month, and I'm not making good money at all. I found out I'm really making 2.80 an hour, and the comission is crap. I work for 5 hours and end up with 12 bucks. When I add my comission to my paycheck, it still doesn't even make minimum wage.
I complained about this, and I was told, "upsell more expensive food and you'll get more money." I'm a door greeter. It's not my job to take their orders. Is this right?

Im currently working in the Philippines in a callcenter as a Senior Dev't Leader and also a callcenter Trainer. I've heard this type of certification helps with credentials for people in the management level in callcenters. Only I don't know where to be certified, what the requirements are etc....I've heard that the Sisigma certification is one of the most recognized in for people in call centers worldwide.

I work for a well established company. I make pretty darn good money. But I am sick and tired of my boss making mistakes and finding someone to blame it on. He cusses at me emberasses me in front of clients, is rude and i'm tired of it. I'm scared to leave and not be able to get unemployment if I quit. At least untill I find something else. Not to brag or anything but all day i'm running back and forth while the supervisor sits and reads the specials on the newspaper all day, gets personal calls all day and does nothing. How is it possible for him to see that she does nothing at all. The other staff member is totally rude to the clients. Is there something wrong in this picture? I need advice?

if you go on an interview and the interviewer tells you that she will call you back within a week because she has more people she has to interview.... does that mean you didn't get the job?

Why is it an employer expects and ask an employee why they are quitting and yet don't give a reason for letting an employee go after 3 weeks. I asked why and he just said its not a good fit and yet I would have rather know more as to the real reason. Any thoughts or soothing comments would be helpful. Oh, by the way, its not that much of a hardship, I am also self-employed.

Hi! I left my last job because of a coworker bullying me so bad, it caused me physical health problems. I have begun to search for a nice new job, and most interviewers ask why I left my last company. When I told them for health reasons, they always want me to explain. I don't want to let them know of my previous trouble in case they think that I am difficult to work with. What is a tactful way to answer this question without having to explain myself?

What percentate of an employees wages should they bring in for your company to consider them "profitable"? - For instance if they make $1000 a month should they be bringing in $5000 a month to consider them profitable. I know that all jobs are different but Im looking at more of a sales rep job. Im really looking to get a general margin between wages of being profitable. Any Input or web sites with this info would be great!
