Most do. And they (and their spouse/sig other) will continue to have the best health care our tax money can buy for LIFE.

It doesn't seem fair that government employees are given better benefits than the majority of people that pay for their salary and benefits.

We need to revolt.

Most state employees do not. VA, MD, NJ and NY, as well as federal employees select a health insurer, a portion of which is paid by the state (their employer) and a portion ispaid by the employee. This is similar to the way ti works in the private sector.

Generally, a fmaily plan costs a certain amount regardless of the number of kids you have. So generally a married couple, nd a married couple wuith children pay the same amount.

I am really not sure. I live in Wisconsin and used to work as a County employee and had free health insurance and dental. The only think I had to pay for was prescriptions and if I rode in an ambulance I paid $25 unless admitted into the hospital. I don't know about other states though. I would say check into it to find out.

This State Employee from Michigan does not. We have to pay a precentage of our medical and dental benefits.
