When I was a kid in the early '60s:
My dream was to live in a big, sunny Art Moderne in Venice CA.
I'd make a living painting huge canvases in the style of Miro.
Dress like a "classic" beatnik: the horizontal striped shirt, black pants, sandles, grow a goatee, and the ever-present beret.
That's what watching TV did to me. ROTFL
Well,
I got as far as Colorado.
My huge paintings are in a style that is my own and I'm making a comfortable living at it.
I dress in cargos and a t-shirt.
Really not THAT much changed, tho' I would like to be in CA right now, we have MORE snow coming in.

I wish I had gone to Med school, become an MD then on to natural path school. After much research on my own I think most MD's stink. They push pills to cover symptoms and are little robots to the Pharm. companies. I could do better.
But alas...too old...kids etc....

i have an art degree and my dream job is making my own art and displaying it in a really cool gallery. I love gallery openings, and hearing positive and negative comments about my work. it usually turns into another project.

I would LOVE to be a mattress tester... Get paid to sleep! Hells yeah! Even if it paid minimum wage, that would be awesome!
