I am about to start a business with a man who has this so-called romantic notions on me. I told him to stop, but he persisted and even told me that its okey to flirt, as long as it's done after work hours and on weekends.
I am also attracted to him, but I don't want to ruin our professional/working relationship, thus I'm keeping it to myself.
We are both single and UNattached.

So what should I do? Must I set the rules?
What should be the business ethics here??

Thank you!

I typically work between 45 and 50 hours per week. My boss (who is very reasonable and fair) has told me that she would like to give me a raise and move me from hourly to salary. This makes sense, since I am the only manager at my company who is not paid a salary, and paying someone overtime every week doesn't make sense for the company.

Does anyone have any tips on writing a contract? How much of a raise should I ask for? Is 10% reasonable for dong the same job (although everyne agrees I am much underpaid)? Should I specify vacation time? Can I include yearly raises? If so, how much? Should it be a range (i.e. 3-8%, depending on performance)? Any help would be really appreciated.

It's the end section of the CV when you talk about your hobbies and interests. I don't know how to word it to make it sound professional. I would really appreciate your help; examples would be great.

Thanks.

I work for this guy doing data entry from home. I've only worked with him for three weeks now, and we were talking on the phone pretty often during the beginning, but we mostly communicate through e-mail. He told me to call him if I ever have any questions, and I haven't spoken to him over the phone in a week (just through e-mail). I haven't had any questions to call him for, but is this bad workmanship? I feel like the work relationship between us isn't as good and am afraid of him finding a better worker...

I am a realtor, and I have been very successful in B2B sales. I am looking to get a government job or a sales position with a high volume corporation. I keep hitting the wall because I do not have a college education. I am considering taking on-line courses at Strayer University. Does anyone know if taking an online course will help me or am I just spinning my wheels and money.

I want to eventually be in the music business. My dream job would be to become an A&R representative for a record label company, maybe even a president of one someday. Other possibilities would be tour manager, band manager, an advertising or marketing position within a record label company/music magazine company/music television company/etc.. I've also heard of a position in an area known as the artist development department in which you help market new artists/bands. Are there any specific schools out there somewhere which are well known for their music business programs? One record label company which I could really see myself working for would be Solid State Records. HM magazine would also be sweet to work for. I know that some schools specifically have "music business" programs/majors. To me this would seem like the best way to go. I just need to know if anyone knows which schools would provide me with the best results in education, environment, and then job placement.

Another one of my co-workers likes to boss people around and tell them what to do even though he's not a manager. I started finishing all my questions with Boss...like what do I do now boss? Where does this go boss? and he got offended. Does he have a right to get offended since he bosses everyone around like crazy?

This girl at my work called me a Wierdo and the worst person to work with because I never talked, on the 2nd day I worked with her. Now it's been a while and she says I'm her favorite person to work with and checks her schedule before coming in to see if I work with her and looks forward to working with me. What the hell happened?
