I'm about to enter my senior year witha dual economics and finance degree, but i really have no real direction on what i want o do after i graduate, not even sure if i want to do business... biggest fear in life is becoming one of those docker wearing, cubical sitting people who hate going to work everyday for 30+ years and have nothing other than an average retirement plan at the end. idk, advice anyone?

I was a salaried employee at a corporation. I resigned from that job several weeks ago, but -- through management or payroll error -- I haven't been taken off the books as I'm still receiving paychecks and still have my old insurance. I know I'll likely have to return the money direct deposited into my bank account, but I'd love to stay on their insurance for a little while longer until the insurance through my new job kicks in. Legally, can I get in any trouble by not reporting this accounting snafu immediately?

We have both a new CEO and a new CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) at my workplace. They are "cleaning house" so to speak. Most everyone seems to either be quitting or getting fired incl. our Operations Manager and my Boss. The CEO cornered me in May and asked me what I do. I felt like this set me up for a defensive remark but I explained to her as best I could. Last week, she asked me again and wanted to set up a meeting. I figured this was an interview for my own job so I quit before I could be fired. She called me back and begged me to reconsider and I did. When asked why I quit, I told her I felt like I was being treated unfairly- I have heard talk behind my back and also, I did not understand why my position was in question. She assured me that I was a great employee and the company would take a hard hit if I left. I don't trust her.I have a meeting with her tomorrow.Have I made a mistake?I am happy with my job just not secure. Please help! I am a bad liar and had to be honest.

How do I start making websites for people?

I mean I've made websites for many years, but I am not sure if i have the skills necessary to make good sites for other people. I am comfortable using HTML/XHTML/CSS/PHP (and though I can't write my own javascript, I can configure it easily, as well as other kinds of scripts) I am a pretty quick learner too if I don't know something. I can graphic design (PS) but unfortuantly can't design in flash (beside basic stuff, bullets, animation,... I can't do the complex designs). I am pretty familiar with everything as I've maintained my own websites for 6 years. I think I could use this skill as a way to make money and build up a portfolio during the summer, do you think it'd be a good idea?

I have been in sales for many years, it's what I do, but maybe do not appear as an arogant do anything for a sale man. I sell swimming pools for 5 years and I am leaving soon the jerks I sell for now as most are mom n pop operations that cheat their own sales people as much or more often than the customer. I trully enjoy selling pools and am good at it. My question is as most sales people know we need to create an urgency close to get the homeowner to buy today. These companies use "rehash" , so if you leave the house it reverts back to the office who can sell it for less than yourself. Most common used is the "showpool" close which in most cases is just a lie to have a good reason to lower the price, to make the deal. You know, a place we could bring a potential pool buyer to see that pool etc.Anyone that knows what I mean and in sales, is there another close you can get the homeowner to buy when you are there, without giving it away at a "par" at cost?
