If you truly want both wealth and fame, you'll have to model others who have achieved that end. Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, is the wealthiest man on the planet and famous as well. Warren Buffet, the second wealthiest, is known for his ability to choose investments. Both of these men are entrepreneurs... they found their true passion and built an empire around it. Decide what you'd like most to do... then go into business for yourself. It can really be any type of activity you enjoy; for example, say you like baking cookies. Look at Mrs. Fields or Famous Amos Cookies... both began with their passion and both are wealthy and famous as well.

A music producer (like Simon from American Idol).
A book publisher.
A chief news editor at a magazine, newspaper or television station.
