Listen to your most favorite music on the way to the interview, preferably someting quiet and calming. Once there waiting, take slow deep breaths and try to blank out of your mind all worries, telling yourself that you are going to do brilliantly in the interview. A positive attitude helps your confidence and with confidence you will do well. Good luck.

The best way to relax is don't relax. I mean it.
You can sit around, do all the deep breathing you want to try to calm yourself but all you will be thinking about is THAT job interview. So don't do it.
Exercise. Go for a run, a bike ride, do some press ups, sit ups, all the while listening to your favourite music.
Focus totally on getting yourself out of breath and you will forget all about the interview, but when you get into the shower and then get dressed up for the interview, you will feel so good about yourself you will walk into the interview room with so much confidence. Believe me, try it.
... And, good luck.

Read up about the copany and make sure that you are aware of the what the job will entail. Think of some questions to ask (not about pay or holidays) e.g. what is the training like? Try and think of at least 3 questions but don't worry if you can't because i always found that tough! Get an early night the night before and make sure you are looking good for the interview (clothes clean and ironed, shoes clean and polished etc.

Be ready for those tricky questions like
"What can you bring to the company that others cannot?"
"Give an example of how you have influenced people to make change"
"Why do you want to work here?"
Find out as much as you can about your new company and try to bring a little if your knowledge into the interview. Don't spout on though!
e.g if you're applying to an oil company, a question like "Now that bp are pulling out of UK refining, how will this affect XYZ (your new compny) marketing strategy?
You will feel more confident in the interview.
Body language is important, don't slouch, put your feet on the desk (I have seen this) don't slate off your last employer. A firm handshake is good and don't fiddle with a pen (or whatever).
Good luck!

Visualize yourself in the interview successfully answering questions. Read your resume about an hour or so before the interview. Go in with the attitude that you do not need the position. Your answers will be sound more confident and spontaneous. If the interviewer states "Tell me about yourself" ask them what they would like to know? This puts you in control...a good feeling.
GO GET 'EM!

This is a terrible feeling, Waiting there and knowing that some other guy has the power over you to decide your fate. But being confident, and visualising a mock interview, i.e asking yourself probable questions and thinking about answers might help you. Try not to think about getting the job.
