Here's my situation:

i'm Asian, female, 20 years old, with an MBA. I'm a Senior Consultant at D&T. My total annual compensation is $88,000.00 (that's salary + bonuses + investment package). I think I should be paid more than that. Maybe $10K more. I really feel some companies out there are trying to rip off females and minorities, and especially if you're both. Am I being underpaid? (Only serious answers, please).

Before working there I have been a strong person and now I feel like I have been abused. I am never happy any more. People that usually make me happy don't. I am always down on myself. I used to be happy with everything and smile all the time. I sometimes feel that my life is about to end. I am getting married in September and I don't want to feel unhappy when it should be the happest day ever. Tomorrow she wants to talk to me about something that I just forgot to do and I have no idea on how to tell her with out her yelling at me. I feel like a child. Please help me.

Please...

They told me today, 5 days after the interview, (which lasted 2 hours), that they thought that I had the personality that would fit the company and that my level of comfort made them feel more comfortable.

They also told me the range that I would be offered and where I would park after 1.45 hours of the interview.

I am scared to death, I want this job, so bad.

Why would cuz, throw me a bone and not offer me the job telling me that my personality would fit the company if I didn't, which he did today.

Geeze, I don't know, I am just looking for answers, I'm scared because I want this job, and more, I think I would be perfect for it and I think they think the same thing.

I don't know, maybe, I have a fear of success? Who the H E double hockey sticks knows if I don't....right?

I think I nailed the interview, but I am so ----not confident----. I have terrible interview anxiety and I felt like I was in my own living room with my interviewers.

What say you?

PLEASE ADVISE.........

I've had two jobs. The most recent one either refuses to give a referance or is really snotty to the person. The other one doesn't keep records that far back.

I've been trying to find a second job but it's like pulling teeth! It usually goes like this... Employer will call me, tell me they like my resume/application and asks if I'm still available. I say yes I am and then they say OK some hiring manager or someone else will call back and set up an interview. I never hear from them again!!! I've called a few back only to be told the position is no longer available. This happened to a friend of mine too. Whats going on here?

I am a manager in retail. I have always been a strong manager, but not strong in my people skills. I was accused of talking down to people. I don't see it, but I'd like to better myself not only as a person, but as a manager. So how do I change the perception that these people have of me without kissing their butts?

My manager at the pet store towers over us pee-ons. Hes like 7'5" , smokes like a chimney and what's worse is he's hypogluoseimic so you never know what mood he's going to be in.
Theres even a rumor going around that one day last year, when the manager lost his cigarettes, a former cashier by the name of Jim, was $5 short in his register. When the kid got smart, he was picked up by his legs, held up in the air, and shook until the money fell out of the poor guy.
Anyway, to make a long story short, My manager always has these sayings when we ask him things like;
When do you want me to start mopping the floors?
"That should of been done 15 minutes ago!"
(Sorry, my time machine broke)

Hey, do you know where the tidycat litter is?
"I've got sh*t to do!"
(okay your right, screw the customer)

Do I have enough time to use the restroom?
"Git her done"
(Wow, he must be a comedian)

"your killin me"
(Killin you? Your bigger than Schwarzenegger)
