I was once in an interview for a manager of a small office. There were an even mixture of black and white employees staffed there. This p rick of a boss during the interview grabbed a report from one of the black employees and had me read it. After finishing, he said, "Aren't you amazed how well he can read and write?". Needless to say, I was gone.

Do you mean worst as in hardest or most wrong? I've had plenty of challenging questions, but the most unethical was, "Do you have a boyfriend" of what relevance is that? And also when I was trying to get into a secret government department, they asked me how big the engine in my car is, again, I have no idea what relevance that was.

'If you were an animal, what type would you be, and why?" This was for a job as a reservations clerk! I thought about saying a cat because they nap a lot and don't listen very well:) But I said a dog because they are loyal, obedient and hard-working.
P.S.I got the job, but quit a week later because it was so boring.

I once was asked, "How are you doing?"
It wasn't just a polite greeting, he was serious. When I initially responded with, "Fine, and you?", he leaned across his desk, peered into my eyes and asked it again. I was thinking, geez, I'm unemployed and sitting here waiting to be grilled, how the heck do you think I'm doing?
So, I just said that to him, but not in those exact words.
I didn't get the job.
