Focus on what makes you happy, in terms of how you spend your time. Do you like dating, visiting family, travel, staying in and watching TV, doodling an evening away on yahoo answers? Do you like to travel, read, follow sports, politics, news? An hobbies or interests? Write down some of these ideas on a piece of paper.
Then think about the lifestyle you want to live. Do you want to be upper class, middle class, lower class, or somewhere in between. Really think about it - upper class involves a committment to education and career, and being active in social clubs, etc - do you want that type of lifestyle? Do you want to be a working mom, or a stay-at home mom?
Then merge the two together. Think which careers (inc. stay at home mom) connects with your personal interests. Think which jobs would let you live the lifestyle you want outside of work. High paying jobs come with stress and long hours - but if you really are that passionate about law or finance, maybe it's right for you.

A business plan style format will help with the professional one, re personal i'd recommend a plain ol' sheet of paper with your wishes, desires and must-haves
