I need a place to SLEEP. Someplace temperature controlled.

But I can shower at the gym.
Clean my clothes at the laundramat.
Food is not such a problem, I do have SOME money.
I've got a P.O. Box.

But I have a medical problem where I can't do manual labor.
I've got a series 7 and series 63 license, but I suck at sales.
I've got a security guard license with loss prevention - NYS.

What can I do that will get me at least $875 a week? Even if it's gross or a little dangerous - I need money, because I'm not gonna die out here! But I need help.

How many hours do you spend working, traveling to and from work?

I have to go into work in the afternoon and my shift overlaps my horrible supervisor. I will have to work with her in the department for an hour, one minute is too long with her. Lately I have been coming in as she was leaving or mostly working with another much nicer person. I know she will have something to say to me as she always does and she called me yesterday to tell me I need to work on a day next week that I see my child. I told her I see my child on that day but I know I am going to have to work because we are shorthanded (she shared everyone away) and it is bad enough to not be able to see my child that day (I can't change the day as i have had diffibculty getting her to see me that one day ( we have had some problems and she is a teenager) but I am afraid that she might start making me work that day more often. I put on my job availibility that I am not available that day. I work every weekend so I don't think it is unreasonable to have that day offf every week.

You have a senior position. You are both single. You know that this could jeopardize your career. But the chemistry between the two of you is out of this world... and we are talking about a relationship and NOT a fling ...

I'm 25 years old and I've had a total of 8 jobs, and I'm beginning to feel that this may be the reason why employers aren't calling me back after sending my resume.

Even though I have a college degree, I'm guessing employers think I'm a crappy employee because I have a history of leaving jobs after one year. I've never left a job shorter than 8 months. (I've only been fired once)

I've never had a job that paid more than 12 dollars an hour, and that's why I left jobs (I felt I was too far down to see any forseeable advancement).

Please say I'm not alone with havoing this problem cause I'm really getting worried. Is there a way to fix this? Should I lie and just "forget" I even worked somewhere? What should I do?

Hi,

One of my good friends here in the uk, has his own business I take great delight in calling him a white van man!! he has a cleaning business and says it's quite profitable, would you agree?

As far as I know it's just him and he cleans bars/houses, is this a good business could I take that back to the states?

If so here are my questions...

How easy is it to see up?

What should I expect to make a week?

What help if any can I get to help start up?

Anything else you may find relevant is appreciated!!

I am a graduate of Advanced Diploma in Mass Communications and have found a job which has no relation to what I have studied. Well, I decided to take up the current job as I had no prior working experience and realised that it was difficult to enter the communications industry. Now I'm working in a hotel and work in shifts.

Should I stay or have I made the wrong decision and look for another job that suit my qualification? Or should I continue my studies and pursue a degree?

Any personal experience that you would like to share?

I am a 36 yr old single mom, reentering the workforce. I was wondering if anyone had any negative experiences or positive for that matter, concerning styles of hair. I am not trendy, or particularly skinny (size 12/14) I am 5'2" and a professional. I have a degree in social work.

Do you think employers are going to be really picky and look at me and not like me or something because of the hair? I will keep it long if I have to but I was kind of thinking I needed a whole new me like in "Working Girl".

Do you think it is going to matter when I go to look for a job in San Antonio, TX.?
