I am a 36 yr old single mom, reentering the workforce. I was wondering if anyone had any negative experiences or positive for that matter, concerning styles of hair. I am not trendy, or particularly skinny (size 12/14) I am 5'2" and a professional. I have a degree in social work.

Do you think employers are going to be really picky and look at me and not like me or something because of the hair? I will keep it long if I have to but I was kind of thinking I needed a whole new me like in "Working Girl".

Do you think it is going to matter when I go to look for a job in San Antonio, TX.?

Long hair usta be considered inappropriate for women over 35-40.. But not any longer.. I would just have a good cut, or style and most definitely show no gray...
I think gray roots are more of a downfall..
Good Luck.
