Would I ever get into a relationship with a client?? Again? NO! It was the biggest career mistake I ever made. At the time, I wasn't thinking of my career - I was thinking of my love life. I know exactly what you mean when you talk about the chemistry - but here's what I learned about that. It wasn't so much the chemistry as much as it was the "forbidden" act to get involved with a client. I knew it was dangerous and flirting with that danger made the chemistry even hotter. But in the end, when people found out, I was frowned upon, others were promoted more promptly, and I gained a poor reputation. My employer then had concern that I was leaking information and became skeptical of my work abilities. I wasn't able to walk away from that until I left that job and started all over again - which sucked. Once that happened, the relationship fizzled, and the chemistry went away. So my advice to you - don't do it. Try to find a guy who isn't so close to work...you'll thank me for it a year from now.

I don't care how cute nice or great he is. Men do not think like women. Coming from a women who had a very successful marraige. Never sh.. where you eat. I'm a widow and have had to learn about being single again. Try this out, it has given me a new perspective on the way men think. Catchhimandkeephim.com. It has been useful info. I'll tell you this, the people that are still close to me are the ones I haven't slept with. So if you really like this guy and he likes you, you will get further holding out, and his true colors will show soon enough. The average male thinks about sex every 15 seconds and will say and do whatever it takes to get it. Including liying.

If you sincerely believe that you can trust yourselves not to give yourselves away, and let others learn of your relationship....then, yes.
However, you have worked long and hard to get to where you are. If there is even and iota of a chance that you would get caught, don't do it.... At least, not until you find a workable answer to this situation.
Just be sure this guy has a lot more going for him than just "chemistry." Tread lightly, and good luck!!!

nothing beats that initial chemistry... the flirting... the snatched glances, a secret that only the both of you share. but you must remember and cling to this knowledge... NOTHING beats that! not even realising your passion. if there is any doubt that you are doing the wrong thing then remain unrequited lovers and relish it! my favourite memories are of those i couldnt quite have!!!

as long as you both are single and discreet, there is no problem. Just act like professionals regardless of the outcome.

Knowing me......yeah, probably would. I'm notorious for throwing it all to the wind!
I think you have to ask your self what is most important to you. Living in caution or living to live.

It is unethical. Either you leave your job or your client gets a different practitioner.
