My sister has just been terminated (fired) from her 3 year job as a dental assistant, now she is planning to sue the company for not explaining the reason she got fired. She also did not receive any warnings or complains before getting fired.
1. Does anybody have any advice on what she can do about this situation?
2. Do you think she has been wrongfully terminated?
3. Does anyone think that she has a case and a chance to win?
~Any response is helpful!!!~

with my SS# on it of course - as one would mail a check in April...

will it still credit to my account?
I think I owe quite a bit, in back taxes -

I would rather start paying and then perhaps get an eventual refund, rather than try to save up enough to pay a lump sum (that'll never happen). I trust the tax system to keep good accounting, but if that's not the way the system works, I don't want to lose money.

Okay, I'm currently in the 9th grade (female), and I am personally interested in becoming a doctor/surgeon because if I go into the health field, I know I am not the top of person of to nurture a patient. I'll end up laughng at their illnesses (out of nervous energy). But I do not mind like studying for something, I am currently an A student, so med. school shouldn't be all that bad. I also wantmore money than a nurse, but also want a marriage/sex life. and children. Is this possible?

I had a student loan/scholarship while in school. It is paid to the student from the general assembly funds from the state. If the student does not comply with the "rules" of the program they basically default and payment is required with a 10% interest penalty.
Well, it happened to me. Now the state is saying that I have 21 months to pay off the loan or it will go to the general assembly to do three things:
1. Place a lien against my home.
2. Levy my earnings.
3. Take tax refunds
all until the loan is paid.

My biggest concern is my home. I have no equity in the home. I just purchased it in August with my husband. What exactly does a "lien" mean and can I be forced out of the home? I live in North Carolina.

Thank you.

What is the government going to do for all the people who didn't get in over their heads with a sub-prime mortgage? Where's my cookie for living within my means and being able to look ahead five years, and stick with my fixed rate loan?

Are Americans overtaxed? Figure it out, how many hours a day do you work just to pay taxes? Add in all other non-income taxes. Now how many hours a day do Americans work just to pay taxes? How much is too much? What can be done? Are you doing it?

How do you journalize a transaction where a customer returns merchandise that is scrapped and gets a refund? Do you debit goods back to merchandise inventory at full cost?
It just says that the merchandise is scrapped (no value). I cannot find anything about this on the internet!

They have called the cops and the department of health for bogus reasons and I have no idea why they are doing this. The cops and dept of health both came to my house because the neighbors said we were dumping chemicals in our yard which we were not and that was proven when both parties came to inspect my yard. The neighbors owe us $350.00 you would think I would do something to them but it's the other way around. I want to get them kicked out but I don't know how to do that. I just want them gone so we can return to a normal life.

hi,this thing about 6200 ciggies being the so called allowance.its a very grey area as it also states that you may lose your ciggies if you are over this amount and if you cant prove they are for family/friends,which i apparently did cos i was way over this amount.the thing is tho we were told that the amount we had they would expect to last us a year, they gotta be kidding.yes we were nearly double their (guideline) allowance.so what they are saying is we cant bring back ciggies/baccy/cigars for the next 12 months? we are off again in feb what do you think should we risk it,can they really inforce what they are saying? none of these things we brought back are for gain,we were even paid in advance by friends to bring some smokes back for them.so should we bring some back in feb or not bother.you know what im gonna bring some back and to hell with them.agree or no? do you think we were lucky to have kept the (contraband) lol.

I am currently just over 30 days past due on my car payment. Yesterday, a representative from my auto finance company called my mother (whom I listed as a reference on my finance application), told her that I am behind on my car payment and that I was going to lose my car if I did not contact their office immediately. Isn't this third party disclosure in the attempt to collect upon a debt and grounds for a lawsuit?

If so, what state would I have to pursue this lawsuit in? I live in Arizona, my finance company is based in Utah and my mother lives in Georgia.

has anyone seen this web site? ordered anything? get ripped off? BEWARE!!!
I may be getting ahead of myself but my dumb *** ordered almost $600 worth of stuff. Sent the money Western Union to some guy in London. Because they dont accept credit cards and he picked up the money but I havent received my UPS tracking number for my stuff!! The phone numbers have changed on there site. You never talk to a live person. You have to order at least $500 worth of merchandise. How convienent for them for the holidays. To rip people off. They said they were affiliated with the BBB. They have never heard of them. So now what do I do?? I know I should have never done it. I have sent them several emails which in the beginning I got a reply but now that they have my money, NOTHING!!
Anyone else get scamed??

I initally signed a 6 month lease for a house and the landlord never had me renew it. I continued to live there for another 3.5 years. Common courtesy, I gave him a 30 day notice. He said he received my notice on Oct. 2 and that was not 30 days and so I owe for the month of November, even though I moved out on Oct. 31. Do I have any chance of successfully suing him for my deposit check? It has been over 30 days and I have never received the security deposit back.

Okay, my husband, myself and my son are on welfare. He and I are on it until SSI accepts our case.

I read somewhere last year that some people can get money back for "unearned" income, what is that?

I am in the state of Ohio.

Thank you!

In places I've lived before, Florida and Ohio, a real estate's sale price and sold date is public info and available on the county's property appraiser's website. The Harris county (i.e. Houston) appraiser's website doesn't show this info. I'm a real estate investor and need to get comps before I make offers on properties. I prefer not to go to a realtor yet. How can I get sale prices of homes and sold date in Houston without going to a realtor?

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to my question..... If you pay off some of your total balance by debit card through the website, will that amount come off my minimum payment that has to reach them by the 17th? Or do you have to pay through the bank/post via the giro slip that comes with your statement each month? Im not sure this has come out right, I hope you can understand what I mean!!
Thanks x
