Okay, I'm currently in the 9th grade (female), and I am personally interested in becoming a doctor/surgeon because if I go into the health field, I know I am not the top of person of to nurture a patient. I'll end up laughng at their illnesses (out of nervous energy). But I do not mind like studying for something, I am currently an A student, so med. school shouldn't be all that bad. I also wantmore money than a nurse, but also want a marriage/sex life. and children. Is this possible?

Being a doctor or in a medical practice/ field means you are there to be of help. To answer queries and at the same time let them feel that their needs are taken cared of. They are there for you because they need help, they need enlightenment with regards to their situation. You care for other people as if they are a part of your family. You care not because of the money they can give out of your service but you care because you simply care and what them well.

Just like any profession there is. You can be married and have children. If you want money more than a nurse be a neuro-surgeon, a pathologist.

Some advice, if you want to be known a good doctor. Care for them. I know some patients who love their doctors because they care.

Good luck and study hard.

Of course it is possible, many do it every day. As long as you are willing to put it all on hold through high school, college, med school and residency, there should be no reason why you can't have all that, and they wouldn't be any more difficult if you were a doctor than if you were a nurse. However, you might want to consider your specialty carefully if you are only in it for the money and "are not the type to nurture a patient". A good bedside manner is important for a doctor too, despite what the TV show House would have you believe.
