A few months ago I decided that I needed a change in jobs so I quit and took a position at a local doctor's office as the receptionist. The boss' wife and I know each other from college classes and she hired me because she really likes me. Her and her husband have done nothing but praise me and go on to everyone about how I am doing such a wonderful job. They have also already given me quite a big raise. The problem I'm having is that I absolutely hate this job! It is extremely boring and I like to keep busy. Also, the receptionist that was here before me made a complete mess of their billing system and now it is left up to me to fix it. In my previous job I did nothing but fix other people's mistakes and that's one reason I left. I honestly do not have the energy at this point in time to fix this lady's mistake. How do I quit and stay friends with this lady? I will be seeing her on a regular basis and I really appreciate everything her and her husband have done for me. Please help!

My husband say that I am a conformist when it comes to how much money I make. So, I thought I would give the general public a list of my qualifications and you tell me, what do you think I am worth (can be hourly wage or salary)

-Graduated High School 3.7 GPA
-Earned an Associates of Applied Science Degree 3.5 GPA
-I took a paralegal certification program in college and received my paralegal certificate.
- I have been working for the past year since I graduated in an immigration law firm as a paralegal.
-I am bilingual in Spanish and English.
-Have great professional references.

I think that I have to get a lot more education and experience before I can make a good salary- my husband thinks that I am not giving my self credit for what I already have. HELP

I am under 55, and I heavily contribute to my 401(k). I know, I know... the longterm outweighs the shortterm, but I need to withdraw basically everything in my fund to take care of some essentials. What is the best way to do that without suffering the huge penalties?

In Dec.04, my husband and I bought a used 2002 Honda Accord LX in his name from a local Toyota dealership. He financed a loan in his name and bought the car for $11,000 total, with monthly payments of $400 for 4 years. Our credit is obviously not the greatest. Long story short the finance company has jerked us around since the first month, and pretty much screwed us. We've literally been on the phone every month with them arguing over our loan. As of today, the car has 87,000 miles on it, the paint from the drivers side door and over the front of the tire has completely peeled off and the car looks dreadful. Blue Book would probably place the value of the car (due to cosmetics) at around $6,000. We think the car was in a wreck previous to our purchasing it. So, as of today, it's been almost three years since we bought the car, and we currently owe $10,000 on it! It has been a complete money pit, and I am at my wit's end ready to drive it off a cliff. What options do we have?

Should we ask the owner to fix them and risk losing the home or should we get a 1 year home warranty with $100 deductible and will that cover new HVAC, gutter, and things of that sort with $100 deductible for fixing each thing?

I absolutely cannot stand my job. Everything I do is wrong and my boss makes me miserable all the time, i get yelled at for every little thing, along with another employee. The other employee is also quitting, the reason she gave is school, but I don't go to school, so i can't use that. I'm simply putting my notice in because I hate my job to the point where it is making me sick. I don't have another job, but my husband and I can afford me not working until I find something else.
I am unsure of how to write my notice. I know i shouldn't vent it all out in the letter. And if i simply tell her I am putting my notice in without a reason, she going to demand to know why, so Im going to have to have a reason. Any suggestions on how to write it?
Thank you!
