My husband say that I am a conformist when it comes to how much money I make. So, I thought I would give the general public a list of my qualifications and you tell me, what do you think I am worth (can be hourly wage or salary)

-Graduated High School 3.7 GPA
-Earned an Associates of Applied Science Degree 3.5 GPA
-I took a paralegal certification program in college and received my paralegal certificate.
- I have been working for the past year since I graduated in an immigration law firm as a paralegal.
-I am bilingual in Spanish and English.
-Have great professional references.

I think that I have to get a lot more education and experience before I can make a good salary- my husband thinks that I am not giving my self credit for what I already have. HELP

It's going to depend a lot more on things you can't control: if you live in New York City versus Podunk USA; if there are a lot of Spanish speaking people where you live versus not many; cost of living; size of firm and number of employees.

Best bet: visit a website like http://www.salary.com and input your location and job information. That will tell you what you're worth on average in your area.

Good salary is not always got by only education and experience. It depends how smartly you sell your capabilities or simply how smart you are.
may be at minting, earning or taking money out of peoples pockets. see Bill Gates is a university drop out, but he sold his capabilities and minted money like any thing. .
so ur Hubby could be right.

You are definitely worth more than a burger flipper. How much money you are worth depends on the total assets you own minus total debt. Also where you live makes a big difference.
