i like the idea of an a=frame for a primary home. can you tell me the avg. cost of an a-frame home? about 1100 sq. feet w/ loft bedroom and not a whole lot of extras. in my area a 1250 sq. ft. house to buy is 100,000 avg., i imagine a a-frame would be cheaper since there is many turns and cuts in the building.any idea how much to buy or build ? i cant find anything on it.

Trey Monson starts a merchandising business on December 1 and enters into three inventory purchases:

December 7 - 10 units @ $7 cost

December 14 -20 units @ $8 cost

December 21 - 15 units @ $10 cost

Monson sells 15 units for $20 each on December 15. Eight of the sold units are from the December 7 purchase and seven are from the December 14 purchase. Monson uses a perpetual inventory system.

1. Determine the costs assigned to the December 31 ending inventory based on LIFO.

Ending inventory =

2.Determine the costs assigned to the December 31 ending inventory based on weighted average. (Round your final answer to the nearest dollar amount. )

A very strange person threatened me today. I think she was my landlord's relative or something. She said she would find out where I live by talking to my landlord. Isn't this illegal? I don't think the post office will even give you a person's new address.

Don't ask what I did to make her so mad. It isn't even worth mentioning. She's a loony I think.

she has her own business and STILL hasn't turned in her 2006 taxes! I'm worried that it could effect my good credit or our chances of owning a house in California (which is really hard).

I'm a loan officer and lately I've heard that Washington Mutual will do your home loan with no closing cost and the will use your old appraisal. Is this true or are there closing cost when it's all said and done?

i would think this is illegal.....it reads the following;

Buyer will not openly market the unit, or allow another party to openly market unit for a 1 year period starting on the date of the close of escrow on the purchase of the unit of the buyer. The term "openly market" means any marketing efforts including, without limitation, (a) listing the unit with any licensed real estate agent or listing in the Multiple Listing Service or its equivalent (b) advertising the unit as "for sale" in any manner including, without limitation, any form of media or physical signage

If this was legal, i would think lenders would put this is in loan documents long ago. Instead, lenders utilize prepayment penalties...... i need to find the statute that protects individuals and enables them to sell real property at any given time

I requested a hoe warrenty on my sales contract since it was brought up by the seeling agent. I was expecting to bring in 300 dollars for the warenty at closing. We only needed to bring in 150 dollers since the seller was paying 3500 toward closing. now 2 monthes after moving in the heat and air unit dies and we find out the closing agent did not include the warrenty. What can I do? I turned down a warrenty with my insurance company because I was under the impression that it was included at closing. Now we have to come up with 4000 to replace the unit. what are my options

I received a letter from a collection agency addressed to my old name. I found it to detail an amount owed that I didn't recognize. I contacted the company (the person was very nice and helpful - Thankfully) - he advised me that it was a charged off debt that they bought from a company (He couldn't find any info as to the name - it was from a larger company that had store accounts, the account was in my name as well as my husband at the time and it was charged off in 1996 (before my divorce)). Now, I have amazing credit and this charge was not on my credit report as of 2005 or I wouldn't have been able to refinance my home by myself. Does anyone know the ramifications of this "bought" debt collection? Does the state's statute of limitations come into play? I don't want to pay for something that is part of the dregs from my previous marriage because my ex didn't pay his bill. I hope my explanation is clear enough. Thanks so much!

Im training for MMA to compete in it, professionally one day I hope. One thing I read about a while back which struck me as odd was that professional fighters get a huge amount of their earning taken away by the government, taxed, like basically on the spot, like how taxes are taken out of your paycheck.

In a situation where a fighter earns $10,000.00 for winning a professional fight, one figher said that the government taxed him $4000.00! How is this right? Thats 40% of what he fought hard to get. What ways are there to avoid being taxed like that? I have heard that if the government is going to tax you 40%, if you were to donate half of what they would tax you, then they dont tax you anything. That sounded pretty weird and off beat to me, but is there any way to avoid this kind of stuff?

We live in flordia and now owe more than the home is worth. we purchase the home 3 and a half years ago for 225k. we got into one of those ARM/intrest only gigs. well the first three years the payments were around 1400 that fit into our income level just fine. Now they inflated to about 2200 in the last six months and now i got notice that it is going up to 2400. I tried to talk to the bank they called for an appraisal 350 bucks out of my pocket and found the value is now 170k. I am stuck.. and i do not have 60k laying around for the diffrence. I went and got a part time job to help but that dosent make a dent, now i am late with cc payments and got them down my throat. My wife is getting a parttime job and we are barely not speaking to eachother due to this mess. Why cant these companies help you, they are the ones that got us this great fantastic program.
