i was bidding on ebay for an item. And the last few hours there was another bidder (of course ) and i did not win and neiter did the other bidder i was bidding against..anyways...
i went to look for the other items in diffrent sizes and i saw that the person that was bidding against me was bidding of every one of the items...and they vary drastically in sizes. SO im thinking this was a friend of the ebay shop owner....because when the bid was over, all of the items were back up again fo r another 7 days (im guessing becasue they did not get what they wanted ....

so ..is this normal ebay stuff, cause i am new and im not sure if this is how it works...its poop! :-(

We listed our house a month ago and have had 1 showing. We are priced at the top for our neighborhood. The agent that showed the house said that it "shows very, very well" and that we have it staged perfectly. We priced it this way knowing that we had 8 months until our new house is ready and so that we had a bit of wiggle room.

I guess I'm a little nervous because the market is so slow. Our next door neighbors have their home for sale for 2 months & have had NO showings. They are 50k less than ours....so I really don't think it is the price that is keeping people away.

We finished our basement & have a nice THX type media equipment. We are thinking about including that as an incentive, but not sure it would get people in to "see" the house. Another idea is to offer a bonus to the agents, but I'm not sure how to go about that.

BTW - We're North of Atlanta, GA in Canton.
Any thoughts? Should we just give it more time or get aggressive?

I was overdraft by 6 dollars, and got charged 20 dollars the next day. But I still didn't realize this and spent another 5 dollars yesterday, and today I found out when I signed onto my account, and saw that their policy was "2nd + day during the current month and preceding 12 months: $35.00 each item
" Does that mean I would get charged an additional 35 dollars for the 5 dollars I spent yesterday? It has not shown up yet in my acct, if I pay my debt now would that 35 dollars go away?

About 4 years after we purchased a beautiful solid farmhouse on 3+ acres and restoring it, we ran out of money. Literally. We claimed bankruptcy. The home is still very much unfinished and we have no money. If we were to finish it, our home, according to local real estate agents would be worth about $160,000 more. How do we go about finding money to complete it?

To date, our mortgage is at $190K and the value is estimated at $199K as is. So we have nothing to work with now. When complete, the home will be worth automatically $160K more, conservatively speaking. WE are having a hard time finding anyone or any business to help us. Any suggestions?

If I left previous employment on excellent terms to accept a promotion and higher pay with another co, and now am unhappy with new job, is it ok to ask to be rehired. Previous co was very nice when I left, offered higher pay and also a promotion. But, I decided to go with the new offer. How should I approach my previous employer about applying for rehire?

I've always felt really guilty when I quit a job. But should you? I mean you're doing it for you, right? I'm contemplating quitting my job now and I of course feel guilty about it but my mates tell me that no one cares more about me than me. This job has me stressed and irritable and I can't sleep right so quitting would probably be the best thing for me. What do you all think?

I just received a notice that my landlord will enter my unit tomorrow "between the hours of 8:00am and 3:30pm to measure refrigerators and stoves"

Is this legal? I looked up the law and it's very vague - it permits the landlord to enter " to supply necessary or agreed upon services". Is measuring refrigerators and stoves a necesary service? Also they are supposed to provide "an approximate time" under the law. What constitutes "an approximate time"? Is "between the hours of 8am and 3:30pm" an approximate time? If not, what is?

I am applying for a stated income mortgage. The bank wants my tax return for 2006 because now I am self-employed. Is this loan stated or now full doc? I will be charged 2% more in interest for a comparible full doc loan. For 2006, I lived abroad and had a part time job while I went to school. My other income comes from renting a multi-unit building which I am looking for refinancing and also yearly gift money. Also, how long do I have to live in this building for it to be eligible for a stated income or full doc mortgage? I've own the place for 5 yrs but last year was in another country. It is still my residence in the states during this time. I have no other apartment or home that I live in. Thanks for any help.

okay, I have a full-time job (as well as my hubby) but I need some extra income, so I applied for a part time job.
I got the job and now they have called me back for an interview, but I just today (of course) thought about the outrageous tax rates our lovely government likes to charge us when we have to get a 2nd job....can anybody tell me what the tax rate would be for the 2nd job?
(I live in MO)
