i was bidding on ebay for an item. And the last few hours there was another bidder (of course ) and i did not win and neiter did the other bidder i was bidding against..anyways...
i went to look for the other items in diffrent sizes and i saw that the person that was bidding against me was bidding of every one of the items...and they vary drastically in sizes. SO im thinking this was a friend of the ebay shop owner....because when the bid was over, all of the items were back up again fo r another 7 days (im guessing becasue they did not get what they wanted ....

so ..is this normal ebay stuff, cause i am new and im not sure if this is how it works...its poop! :-(

Yes, this is the stupid thing about ebay. People can bid and then end up not paying, so the people who actually are willing to pay get screwed around as well.

If the items were listed again at a higher price then before then ya, it is prob the sellers friend trying to make the items look more in demand than they actually are.
You can always email the seller and ask whats up, tell them that you bid and lost and now the stuff is back up???

I know that stores actually do the ebay thing as well, again, email the seller for the info your looking for. You should be able to email them directly through ebay.

That would be a shill bidder. Some people use others to pump up their prices or they use multiple accounts to do it. The idea is to push the price up but not get stuck with the bid.

It is against Ebay rules. If the seller is that obvious in doing it then it won't take Ebay long to catch on.

However, do not jump to conclusions. It is very possible that it is a person who was interested in the clothes, not for herself, but for a business idea or something. There are other explanations as to why a person would be bidding on different lots of clothes with different sizes. She may have been buying for lots of different people.
