If a boycott is not feasable what is? I know we could come up with some idea that will make an impact.

The only way I can afford to buy gasoline at the current prices is to give up spending money on other things. 1st thing to go would be entertainment like movies and movie rentals, going out to eat and buying gifts for people. Also this winter I will have to live with much less heat in the house as I can't afford the high heating costs either. What things would you guys give up and in what order?

There's no shortage just we are competing with the fastly growing countries of China & India for a limited supply and the commodoties that pump oil out of the ground love the "Panic Buying".
Plus, we are the greatest gas guzzling country in the world.
We don't want to use mass transit or carpool.Next time you are out look at all the cars w/1 person in them. It's amazing!
Best of Luck....

Gas boycotts have never worked and never will work. The best way to protest is to walk, ride a bike, or take public transport.

No. A boycott won't help. We all need gas and they know it.
