I received a letter from the IRS telling me someone else used the same social sec. number that one of my dependents has on their tax return. and for me to check my return and review the rules about what qualifies someone as a dependent. I already know the rules and my dependents do qualify and i have used the same dependents about 3 years now. and they said if after reviewing the rules i find they don't qualify i would have to amend my return. they do qualify. so i don't need to amend my return. and i have received my refund to date. so what will happen next? thank you for your help.

I got something in the mail and I'm 99.9% sure that my ex is doing this to me. A phone line was open in my name and social security number many years ago. The "final bill" was in March of 2000. This was at least three states away from anywhere I ever lived. Is there any way I can find out what else he did to me? I know he was into small-dollar crime, and this would qualify as that.

I am rather proficient in the art of writing a business plan. It's a very time consuming process, and I am a perfectionist. A friend messaged me and asked how much I charge for business plans. What is the going rate for a professional business plan? Thank you in advance.

Hi. I need help, and my insurance company just lets the phone ring...so does my condo management company...so any help will be appreciated! My downstairs neighbor's ceiling under my toilet fell down a bit--the cement is exposed now. He says he doesn't have homeowner's insurance (even though he owns his condo). I called a plumber who said it wasn't my seal, but rather pipe lower down at the "elbow" (whatever that means) and that it was cracked. He repaired it...for 630.00. Now, my neighbor wants me to pay to fix his ceiling too, plus my condo association says that since the pipe was coming from my toilet, they are not responsible either. My homeowner's insurance people, when I called them before I knew what was wrong, said if it has to do with the toilet it's a "maintenance" issue which is not covered. Is this true? Any part of this sound off to any of you experts? :) Thanks!

Yay! I'm pre-approved...

How exactly do you get them to stop sending these offers? If I kept them all, I probably could build a house out of them...

Is there a way?

I was hired for a new restaurant, I filled out the W2, signed papers, all that stuff and was told they would call me soon to tell me my training schedule. Well, they have not called and I have been leaving messages for the manager to please call me and let me know whats going on.
Dont employers have a responsibility to let you know if you have the job or not? I mean I didnt go out and look for a job because I didnt need it, I need to start working and I'm sick of sitting around waiting.

If you work for a company overseas and money is wired into your account in the amount that would look as though taxes are taken out, but you get a lot of excuses about why you don't get pay stubs, how can you find out what's really going on?

If you start to look into it to protect yourself and you get fired soon after, is there anything you can do, or are you damned if you do, damned if you don't . Please can I have some good, honest feedback? I'm terrified of losing my job but I really don't think this company has filed with the state of NY. What cause of action should I take?

Options are more affordable for me. Is it the same as researching a stock for a company by looking what the company sells, market cap, institutional owners, and stock price history? Should I stick with IPO's or brand companys?
