What difference does it make to whom your stockbroker is married so long as you have control of your brokerage account. Do you get regular statements? Are you notified of every purchase or sale for your account ? Do you have input as to what what is bought or sold? If you answer "yes" to these simple questions wish your broker well in his marriage and maybe you can get reduced rates on your travel.

What's the relevance of the spouse's occupation?? If you have doubts abbout the integrity of your stockbroker you should use FINRA's broker check, it's a great website and it will tell you everything on your stock broker that's relevant for you to work with him or not.
