I know there are several companies that offer to "buy your house" and I was just wondering if anyone has used them, or if anyone has any first hand knowledge about them. Thanks :)

They will not pay market value. They force you into a short-sale.

They buy your house at far below market value (usually 50% - 70% of real market value). With the reputable companies, it is a clean, quick sale. Then they fix the house up and sell it for market value.

There are plenty of those "We Buy Ugly Houses" operations out there. They are for real, and they WILL buy your house......for about 70% of what you could get on the open market.

That's how they make their money. They buy CHEAP, and then resell.
