How do I start a 501 (c) 3 organization to take in donations for shirts and business cards for promoting a not for profit website/cause? What are the general rules for doing such a thing? How much will it cost? What about people that want to donate that are in Canada (not just the US)? Can I say for a minimum donation of $XX they get a shirt sent to them? Is there a way to say this correctly?

I applied to a job that is 2 hours away from where I live and commuting everyday would kill me. I was telling my wife I really need this job because it is a step up from what I am doing and I would be working with the same company. I dont want her to move and leave her job so I suggested I could live in my car for six months just so I could get the training and be able to get a good job when we move out of state next year. She thinks Im crazy but there is no way I can afford to pay for a hotel or a place to live. My work place has a gym, a cafeteria, and showers. I have a sports utility vehicle with enough room to lay out a mattress. I could work, work out at the gym, shower, have dinner, study the new material at the restaurant, brush my teeth, then go to sleep. In the morning I could shower and go to work. I could go home on Friday in the afternoon and go back to work Monday morning. What do you think?

My credit reports say that at least one creditor (or former creditor) is still reporting an address at which I have not lived in many years. I think that I should contact this (these) creditor(s) and give them my new address. However, the credit bureau says that they only keep track of which creditor reported which account information, and do not keep track of which creditor reported which address. Aside from contacting every single creditor, which will take too long, especially because I do not have all the telephone numbers, how can I determine which creditor is still using my old address, i.e., which creditor does not yet have my new address?

Having homes in both the USA and Canada I well know how the US dollar is in free-fall from the Bush-Cheney ("Deficits don't matter!") economic policies.

But how long will the foreigners who have bought US debt put up with their holdings depreciating daily (a personal example:
my American stock market holdings over the past 2 years have
gone up by almost $US 1,000,000. But valued in Canadian dollars I have hardly earned a penny!). Is it not obvious that just a sentence or two from a finance minister or other leading politico in China or South Korea or Japan, or even from George Soros, would result in total American financial collapse???

Simple scenario, manager in role, manager told verbally new role starts Monday, when manager asks what choice, told none, take it or we will make you take it!
Manager takes role, old position filled in by team leader and information was that this would remain until new year, then 4 weeks later, new manager appointed, case?

my daughter quit her job and was paid a final check with the unused accrued vacation time added in. but the employer deducted far more taxes from the final check than for prior checks that were for more money. the employer said that the IRS withholding taxes are higher for paid unused vacation time. does anyone know if this is right??

I got written confirmation of a settlement agreement with Omni credit services. The deal was to pay two payments of 931.70. I authorized the agency to take 931.70 out of my checking account via a debit card. When I looked at my account 936.70 was taking out. What are my rights? What can I do? They are closed until tomorrow so I cant call the lady I spoke with. No fees were mentioned to me on the phone.
