If you pay your accounts on time, and don't use more than 50% of your available credit, you will receive an "unrequested" credit increase. You should receive a letter in the mail, explaning why they increased your credit limit.

Hope that helped.

The increase is good for your credit rating. The more credit available and less balance carried increases your FICO points..The reason is because you have used it and have paid on time for some period of time. And try to keep your balance under 50% of credit limit in the future... Congrats!!

It's normal for a credit card to automatically increase your limit if you have a good payment history. Just don't go wild and run up the card balances.

what this means is you have been paying on time and they consider you a better risk and so they are offering you more credit if you need it!!!
