If UK citizens are asked to pay twice for refuse removal I believe that the objection to this will be seen by the number of rubbish bags thrown out of car windows on the grass verges.

How will this extra charge be monitored? Who will keep the records - the refuse collection men? Who will administer the bills - another 1million council workers employed throughout the UK who will cost far more than the income generated!

We will end up with locks on our wheelie bins to stop sneaky neighbours depositing their excess in other people's bins.

And all in the name of Global Warming - I think not. I believed in Global Warming until the word 'environmental taxes' were mentioned, now the credibility of the idea of Global Warming has been compromised by our politicians, as I believe it's just another way to raise taxes to pay the bloated salaries and index linked pensions of state employees and politicians.

I'm about to open a food delivery business here in San Antonio, Texas! A market that has been truely underserved in this regard. For a nominal delivery fee of $5.00, and a minimum order of $20.00, I'll deliver hot, fresh food from over 10 different restaurants in 45-60 minutes straight to your front door! The name of my business is DELIVER EATS and we'll be opening up in early November, 2007. You'll be able to order over the phone, or online at www.delivereatsonline.com ! No more pizza, just because they're the only ones that'll deliver! Now you can have your choice of over 10 different types of cuisine including Bar-B-Que, Seafood, Mexican, Thai, Indian, and Italian, just to name a few. I'll be serving the North, NW, and Downtown Areas of town to start with. Residential and Corporate business is welcome, Lunch and Dinner available Mon-Sat, Closed on Sunday. My question is this. Who here will use my service? What can I do to improve the concept? What have I forgotten? Thank You!

My new job pays minimum wage and does not take out taxes. We claim them at the end of the year and pay them then. I am working for a non-profit place that helps people donate cars to charity. How much should I be saving from each paycheck to ensure that I will have enough money to pay my taxes at the end of the year? My boss told me the girls all save about 15 dollars a week, but that doesn't seem like enough - considering at my current job they deduct about $100.

What I'm asking is this: I am rebuilding my credit from a bankruptcy. I have a credit card with a 300.00 limit. The minimum monthly payment is 40.00 a month. If I pay the whole balance off, and don't use to card but choose to keep the account active, how will my minimum monthly payment be applied to my account?

I'm not talking about jobs that are great in pay and you have to be skilled at something to do it. I'm talking about small minumum wage or maybe a little above, no expierence required, anybody should be able to get jobs. I know too many people that have trouble even getting jobs at fast food resturants let alone any other parttime or fulltime customer service job. It's not that their under or over qualified. Or have bad criminal backgrounds. Or have mental or physical disabilties that hold them back. They keep searching for just a job that can put money in the pocket, they appliy at every place that's hiring and nobody hires them. These shouldn't be places that have high standard or qualifications. So what is it that people do wrong that ruins there chances for a job? I just don't understand it sometimes. Is it the way they look or act? Is it something they do on the interview? What could it be?

the standards that people employ in their working life have gone down and there is so much money-grubbing and constant demand for more, more, more for doing less. I'm not saying that work life should be on a volunteer basis, but what is it with the over-valuation of effort people put into their jobs/career?

He borrowed money from me to buy a car from a private seller- I paid money to the seller by check. The seller transferred the car's registration and everything to him after getting the check from me- I went with him to buy the car. Now he refuses to pay back the money I paid towards his car. What are my legal options. I dont have any written agreement with him as such except for the check I wrote for him. Can I approach the court?

Ok first off, I have bad credit, including an eviction. When I was 19, I was pregnant & in college & my bf was starting a new job. Then I fell on the stairs, started bleeding, & went on bedrest. My lousy bf heard that it's illegal to evict a pregnant woman in NC, so he never started his job. I couldn't do anything about it, every time I even moved I risked a miscarriage, you know? The eviction ended up on my head.

I'm self-employed, & I do have large gaps which I may talk about later. There's no way I can qualify for a regular mortgage. I found an owner-financed property that is PERFECT for me & my kids. But I'm scared about even qualifying for those lesser terms.

I have a rich friend who offered to help & give me $6,000 to pay 15 months of payments. I would want the money to go towards that instead of a down payment. Could the seller & I put that money in escrow, and then have her deduct money every month for my housing payment? I'm trying to relieve her risk here

I'm really interested in hearing people's experiences -- what were your challenges? Do you have any advice (for either etsy or paypal use)? I read 'PayPal for Dummies' online, but would love to hear other people's experiences before I jump in. Thanks so much.

In 1991 a property I jointly owned with my exhusband was remortgaged by him without my knowledge.Iwas contacted in in 1996 by a debt collecting agency asking me to pay over £40,000 for a mortgage shortfall on the property.I had no idea what to do and as the property had been in joint names I immediately consulted a solicitor, who had no idea what he was talking about and misadvised me. As I was scared stiff at the time his solution of me paying them a sum each month seemed like the only way to stop the harassment. After 14 payments they began to phone my home and at this point I refused to pay them another penny.Of course I was totally unaware that the limitation period had restarted. For the past 7 years this debt has been past from one agency to another and my life has been hell.I have continually asked them to substantiate their claim by showing me the original mortgage document with my signature. They are unable to find any documentation and are threatening to gain a judgement.HELP

Do you have a job that at any point in the day you could just stand up and yell "I LOOOOOVE MY JOB"? Or is there a certain profession that you would love to do or that you know someone that loves to do it? If so, what is it and why do you love it so much? If you don't want to give an explanation and want to just tell me your job, that's fine to. I'm just asking your job, not a specific location, name, employer, etc.
