I was a teacher and was burning out. I had a second degree in Computer Science and took a job back when you actually still wrote programs instead of installing them. I did this when I was 29 and had been teaching 7 years. I found myself missing the classroom about six months into the computer job and even though I was making a boat-load of money I just couldn't stop thinking about the old job. I went back to teaching a year and a half later and will retire in 5 more years. I have been extremely happy with my decision. I guess I just needed to take a break to see what else was out there.

I was a high school dropout and got my GED when I was 32. Over the past 25 years I have done many different things, including odd jobs. I started a new home business when I was 43 and have never regretted it. I would do it all over again!

I wish you all the best!
