1 hour! I seriously wouldn't stress myself with a lengthy journey, and by the time you get home you won't have much left of the evening to chill out.

Certainly not more than 1 hour by public transit.
But I prefer 30 to 45 minutes.
If the job is further way, I wont take it.

45 Max, with no heavy traffic, good weather and the job pays well. Gas is too expensive for a long commute

Driving, maybe 30 minutes door to door, but I'd be willing to spend more time on a train or bus, so I could nap, or read a paper or book.

45 minutes to 1 hour, acceptable if you are well treated were you work.
