It's not a coin, but a Mint token included in every US Mint coin set. "P" refers to the Philadelphia Mint, the place that produced the coin set and token. Someone must have broken up the coin set and left the token to be circulated along with other cents. Actually you can't circulate the token as it's not legal tender. Coin dealers sell that as collectibles for 2 to 25 cents each depending on condition.
