Im considering franchising a McDonalds and have started talks but I have a question where would I get the Mcdonald branded condiments and wrap such as ketchup, cups, wrappers etc etc. Is there a certain wholesaler who offers these items. I would ask the corporation but I dont want to seem completely dumbfounded so answers are appreciated.

I have a 2 big credit card balances, totaling about 8k with high APR's. I found a loan that could pay them both off with some left over. The payments for the loan are less then what I pay monthly for the two of them seperately. Should I go for it, is there anything about the loan I should know or consider. Thanks in advance for the advice.

First of all, let me say that I don't want to dump him. He is sweet, charming, caring, funny and smart. He is also extremely frugal--when it comes to his own finances. He has a 18 year old hunk of junk car and he lives in a cheap apartment in the worst part of town. His socks have holes, his bedding has the stuffing coming out of it, he cuts his hair twice a year, and I don't think he's gotten a new pair of glasses since 1993. Simply put--he's cheap. He also makes 3 times the amount of money that I do. But, when we go out--somehow I end up paying for HIS $24.95 lobster dinner with wine and MY $7.95 hamburger and coke. We have holidays in a month, and I've told him the max I can spend is $700. He wants to go to Europe. I've told him to go without me many many many times. I have no problems with staying home and vegging, if it means peace of mind. Now we're fighting because I can't live up to his ideal lifestyle. What should I do?

Do you get tax every time your portfolio rises or do you only get taxed when you withdraw money from your portfolio? What if you did not make a profit from your original investment but choose to withdraw funds from your portfolio, do you still get taxed?

My husband works as a contractor and is paid cash by his employer. If his boss doesn't give him a 1099 form can he get one himself? If so how? I am sure he will have to file so he don't get into trouble with the IRS.

I have 4 credit cards and I'm looking to put extra money on them. Here they are in order of when I received them uncluding aprox interest and aprox balance:

1. Bank of America- 10% aprox interest, $1,950 aprox balance
2. Capital One- 20% aprox interest, $430 aprox balance
3. Gap- 30% aprox interest, $370 aprox balance
4. American Eagle- almost paid off, only 2 months old

Cards 1 and 2 are a year and a half old, Gap is almost a year, and American Eagle is 2 months but I've only used it when I had the money to pay it off ($15 left)

I'll have about $500 to put on my cards, the first 3 are almost maxed out and I'm not worried about American Eagle because it'll be paid off this week.

Should I pay off one card completely and not use it (unless I have cash) OR should I put like $175 on each of the first 3 to get them away from the limits? I'm trying hard to improve my credit score and my spending habits are under control.

Thanks!

Im trying to decide between becoming a Resp. Therapist or an RN....Im a male, enjoy social interaction, caring, soft spot for people who are hurting, and generally like helping people... i also have asthma, so i figured i can relate to respiratory patients well.... then theres the matter of school...ive already been accepted to a Resp. program, but its quite a bit more expensive than the communtiy college's RN program would be (providing I'm accepted after prereqs). Can you please list the pros and cons of each occupation? i know nursing hours are better, and it has better pay...what are the other perks of each, from education through the actual careers? Which is more fulfilling? More easily balanced with a family? More challenging/ able to keep my interest? And, which is harder overall? Any and all help greatly appreciated, but please think answers through and answer honestly...it means a lot to me. =)

My father is going through an ugly divorce. Everything seems to going real bad in his and my life (I'm his son/I live with him). We're broke and left with practically nothing. Recently my father received an e-mail, saying he won the "European Lottery". At first my father didn't want to tell me about it, he just said that he was pretty sure we would be getting some money, a lot of it!!!! He made a lot of plans and said that if this went through, we would be "free". I kept on asking him about the credibility of such e-mail. He told me not to worry about it. When I checked one of the e-mails myself, it looked like a total (excuse my French) f_k_n joke!!+ email was sent from a @yahoo.com (how reputable is that?) if anything it should have been @uk.org, right? I Had to break the sad news to him, but he swears it's true. I keep on telling him to watch out, because he's gone get screwed over (it's all a scam), but he won't listen!!Help!! I feel frustrated that I have to babysit a 53yr old man

We are trying to get a mortgage type loan, for the house we are building. We have been trying to get financed through BofA, but they have been taking months, and making us jump through hoops. We want to know if it is allowed to also begin seeking finance through another establishment at the same time, in case BofA falls through on us?

My boyfriend and I purchased a house a few months ago that has not closed, but is no longer conditional either. Our relationship has fallen apart and we no longer want to own a property together. Is it possible to not close on the house at this point or do we have to? Also, is it possible for one of us to close on the house even though the offer and mortgage is in both of our names?

How long do you have to go to school? Have you ever wished you weren't one if you are one? Do you enjoy it? Where should I work? What place would be the best to work in (CVS/ or a hospital)? Do you get a lot of free time? How often do you get a day off? What are your hours? All basic questions!! I don't wanna regret becomign one if i do... Is there anything else that you suggest for me to do if you think pahrmacy is bad?

I applied for a low-income apartment. At 1st they said I was accepted for the waiting list for the apartment. Then they called me for an interview a few weeks later. I did my interview & they really made it sound like I was going to get the apartment. A few days later they send me a letter saying that that they are unable to approve my application because my in person interview answers did not match my answers on my application. I have no idea what they are talking about. I never lied about anything during my interview or on my application. Anyway they said that I could appeal this rejection in writting. So can someone help me with the letter? I really really want this apartment so that I can get out of my Mom's house & get out on my own. I have a low paying job & I have to pay for school, so I can only afford low-income housing.

If you use bodog.com and deposit using an electronic check, and then the check bounces due to insufficient funds in your bank account, can bodog do anything. They claim they will report you to a third party collection agency and report you to the experian etc. However, isn't online gambling in the US illegal? Would the collection agency have any right to collect on an illegal debt? Not to mention they never ask for you Social Security #. If the bank knew the checks were going to an illegal gambling site wouldnt they cancel the checks anyways?
