Figure an average fast food worker makes about $6.00 an hour. Works about 20 hrs a week. That is $120.00 a week. $480.00 a month. Minus 18% for taxes. This means you will get about almost $400 a month take-home.

Most 14-15 year olds do not have jobs. Assuming you can get a minimum wage job at $8 and you work 10 hours a week on top of school, that would equate to $320 gross and about $200 net.
If you are really ambitious and work 20 hours, then you can get double. In my state, you can't work until you are 16 years old.

As far as I know most don't hire on until 16, or at least 15 1/2.
Now the average working 15 year old, I would say 300 - 400, seeing as the probably work part time and minimum wage (which differs in each state)

I think a 14-15 year old has to get a permit or something from school to work. Then you can only work a few hours a day. Probably just making min wage. If they'll hire you.

Hmm, aren't there child labor laws? Gosh, you can work like what, 20 hours a week or something? Multiply that by minimum wage, by 4 weeks... i guess a good 14 yr old will make like 500 dollars a month.

for girls i dont't know but in a resturant you might be able to get a "bus" boy or girl job they usually get a percentage of the waiting and bar staff perhaps i dont know if they get a hourly wage. in a busy bar they sometimes hire young people to collect bottles and and cleaning tables and restocking the bar stock like cases of beer. A Nursey might hire you too that way you'd be working with plants and learning something that you have an interest in.young gys should check out local construction sites for same reasons you never know what a contractor might need to do using manual labor.construction and restruant and bar buisness are worth checking out.all kinds of work out there just think of more then just making money try and do something your interested in

You will likely be making minimum wage. Teens are limited to the amount of hours that they may work each week. I don't recall off hand, but I believe it is something like 20 hours/week. You can check with your local state employment office to be sure.

In the US a 14 or 15 year usually doesn't work. If they do work, it is either by a workers permit or there parents own the business. I would assume though the average monthly salary would be approximately $638.60 before taxes.

I would think that it is min wage.
More importantly I would hope that it is limited. Although you do NOT want to hear it now. School is the priority not extra spending money.
Although you want the money now there could be regret later. Focus on school and learning now and still have fun but your earning potential later will not be the min wage rut ..
I know you might think that it is a crappy answer but you will be glad later.
Signed
Regret

minimum wage, which varies depending on where you live, in Los Angeles it's 6.75 an hour, which isn't worth anything. The only hope you have is working at In-n-out burger, they start you off at 9.50 and you can easily get a raise, i had friends making almost 12 an hour because they moved up. but i think you have to be16.5 yrs. old
