I have a estate that just got reassesed here in Philadelphia. I was wondering if the market value quoted by the tax people is close to actual value? How would I check?

I have Cerebral Palsy and live with my mother. No I do not get benefits. They give you such a hard time I said forget it and now I want to PROVE that I have NOT worked. Social Security said go to unemployment office???? Social Security should have a record or NOT HAVE income shown. I think they are giving me the runaround as this IS what they do best.

I am extremely unhappy and my workplace. I love the actualy job but I NO longer care for my boss. He used to be really nice but he has developed an attitude lately. It is only the two of us...he runs the shop and I do all the office work. So I'm currently looking for another job. A few people have told me to do waitressing but if i did that i would only be able to do day shifts because I have a child and would need daycare. I have never done it before and it would be a big risk for me. I have bills to pay and am scared to leave my job that I know i will recieve a set pay check. What do you guys think I should do?

don't like the idea? then why does everybody work within the same scheme?
you are either a boss with levels under you or you are the level under your boss. people get bought at salary price and sold at sale prices. you get paid 20,000 you are then sold for 35,000and so on life is one huge pyramid?

I understand as long as I don't close the old account I'm OK as far as maintaining a good credit score. BUT, since I'd be opening a NEW card, would that be a problem? I never cared about the interest on my current card (I paid in full every month), but that is impossible now. That's what happens when you start a business, I guess. No balance transfer fees possible anywhere? Currently @ 15.99% interest. When would it be OK to close that other card, if ever? Thanks for all your help!

We (myself and boyfriend) are trying to purchase our first home. (Due to get married in Dec.!!) Problem is - - when we applied for a loan the loan office wanted to see his Tax form. He gets a 10/99 tax form and it only shows he make $6000 a year..when he really makes around $30-35. Not to mention tips ect,. He works in a nail shop and each week they do not take taxes from him when he gets paid. They do everything at the end of the year...and his boss only claims that he makes $6000 so he wont have to pay as much at the end of the year. My question is how can we prove what he really makes when the State shows he only make $6000? Is this common? Pls someone that knows their stuff!!!

I just found out I'm 108 overdrawn in the bank. I owe the air conditioner guy 90 dollars and my check is only 298. My husband works out of town and needs money put in the bank. He has know idea that we are overdrawn and will be furious! I need to know what everyone else would do in this situation. I'm really just venting I know its my problem but any help would be greatly appreciated. At this point I'm trying to find ways to get the $108 so he does'nt find out. By the way it was an error on my part that caused it.

I am opening a hobby shop that includes comics, anime/manga, and buy and sell video games. As well as the typical paints and models, RC vehicles and rpgs. I 'm not sure however how to find suppliers for the models and rpgs and RC vehicles. Please help I'm located in southern Ontario Canada. .. I interviewed with them last Tuesday and was called back for a 2nd interview last Thursday. They told me I come highly recommended and gave me the impression that I was the person they were looking for. I was introduced to the whole staff and a few corporate managers.

Anyway, I was told last Thursday that they would contact me "next week" (which is this week) but I haven't heard anything yet and the anticipation is killing me.

Should I give it more time???

I want to increase my credit score, but am confused as to how it works. I have 2 judgments against me when I used to live in another state. I have collections, mostly medical. I have 2 credit cards that have been charged off. I have no open lines of credit except student loans. Should I pay the charged off amounts, or forget about them and get 2 secured credit cards to increase my score. What should be my 1st step?

Even though I have read and read about how to open your own business, I am still very confused as to what the steps are.
I know I need to open an account with the SBA. I know I need to register the name with my state. I know I need a tax id or EIN # (is there a difference between the 2).

What is the first thing I would need to do? How much would it cost my business to do all this?
To be more specific, me and my partner are working together as photographers and we would like to make it legal. We don't have a set location, as we work on the location the client chooses.
Please if you have any information you can provide, I would really appreciate it.
And please refrain from looking this online and give me links. I need real information from people who know what they're talking about.
