I found a house that im in love with! it has a wood frame...
How much more is house insurance going to be?

We live in tampa area florida.

Most homes are built with a wood frame. You shouldn't see an increase.

Now if it were brick or metal beams used like a wooden frame, then you'd see a discount.

Good luck finding insurance in FL no matter what kind of house. Everyone I know is being canceled and Citizens is supposed to be the only one required to provide. Rates are getting pretty high too. People have been seeing their insurance double, from $800 yr to $2000 yr or more with each renewal.

Whoa, that's Hurricane alley!!!!!!! I'm sure it is outrageous. Call the insurance company for a quote. There policy's are different around that area cause of the weather. Some won't even cover there.

99.99% of houses are framed in wood. Be more specific.
