should i give up on them they dont open for another month

Call them...keep in mind that they are interviewing for a whole store...not just a few positions. It's important to call and let them know that you are really interested in becoming a team member.
Don't stop the job search though, just in case.

Did they tell you when they'd get back to you? If so, I'd call shortly after that time elapsed. Otherwise, it's reasonable to call the person who interviewed you to follow up.

Give it a bit more time but you should still be looking for other jobs anyway - don't stop the search.
