If you are like the millions of people who love Wal-Mart for they're low prices, watch the documentary "Wal-mart: The high cost of low prices". I think it will change your mind. Don't you ever wonder why the prices are so low? It's because they have tons of Chinese workers making their products, that hardly get paid. The actual Wal-mart workers are poor. Their Health Care sucks too! I've heard about disgruntled Wal-mart employees before, but this documentary will open your eyes. It also drives out Mom and Pop shops that have been open for 50 years. Don't shop there. I know it draws you in with that stupid smiley face, low prices, and 24hour convenience. But ladies, be careful in the parking lot at night. 80% of all crime that happens at Wal-mart, takes place in the parking lot. And even though executives have found that a security guard patrolling the lot drops the crime rate to 0%, MOST will not pay for it!

I work for a small company...I have a bachelors and my boss (the owner) does not have a college degree. His girlfriends mother died and left her the house, so he sold his house and they had extra money, so he bought a franchise with it...

Anyway, the other week he wrote me an email saying:
"Write the words "FOR YOU" on the post it that I put on the table in the corner".

I can't stop thinking about it and I get soooo angry. Right now I'm foaming at the mouth.

Do you consider that degrading and just wrong?!!!???

Has anyone received this notice and how hard was it to fix? I believe I have enough documentation to fix the issue but assume it will be a hassle. The instructions say to send in documents correcting the problem and statement describing what happened. Will they just send a notice back verifying that my fix resolves the problem? How long can I expect? Any help is appreciated!

The house has been on the market for atleast a year. We had planned on waiting a few more months to buy but the house has been reduced again and I'm afraid someone else will buy it. The real estate agent who showed us the house said that it is a foreclosed property and that he is handling the sale for a mortgage company in California (the house is in Alabama). The listing price of the house is roughly 2/3 of what the real estate agent claims the house has been appraised for, so it seems like a really good deal.

The problem: my credit sucks...about 530 and my husband's is around 520...and we can only come up with around 5% for a down payment. We are first time home buyers, have good jobs with the same company for 2 years, and can easily afford the mortgage payments.

Would it be possible to pay less down because the value of the house is so much more than the amount we want to borrow?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I know all the different checks to see if someone is self emlpoyed or employed and this person is pretty much deemed to be self employed, BUT they receive a basic salary as well as commission.

How does this affect things?!?!?

A capital one card was opened without my husbands knowledge. He called and they sent him a letter saying he was not responsible. So they changed the account number and keep sending him a bill. We have called and sent copies of the letter etc... What do you have to do to deal with them. UGGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really don't want to pay the bill, but we are trying to rebuild our credit and don't want it destroyed either. Fraud Protection What a joke.
