I opened a new pack of index "cards" today, and they where thin as ish! Why are they making everything with so much less quality? Is it because of the gas prices? Are they trying to be more environmental friendly? Whats the deal

i've been offered a job where I will make almost twice what i make in my current job. However, in about four months I will be going back to school to get my teacher certification. My current job is pretty flexible and would allow me to keep my job and go to school. I'm trying to think larger picture here, and I would have to leave the new job once school starts. Although the money would provide some more financial security. What do you think I should do?

I'm 23 and I make about $30,000 a year. The house I want only costs $55,000. The seller is paying closing costs and a 3% down payment for me. I am self employed but have my tax returns for the last four years and pay stubs for the last four years as well. Since I write so much off, my taxes say I make much less, so I'm worried that is going to be a problem. I have a credit score of 635. I'm so nervous here waiting for the lender to call me back.. what do you think my odds are of getting the loan approved?

I had a job interview on Aug 28th. I was told they would be doing 2 and maybe 3rd interviews and that I would be contacted either way. As of today Sep 7th I haven't heard anything yet. I am really interested in this position. The first interview went really well. I felt really good about getting a 2nd interview. Should I call them? How long should I wait?
I don't want to blow it.

Im not sure how its configured? its on an acre but there are bigger homes on 2 acres in other communites for only 3100 so we're thinking it the mother/daughter thing that jacked it up? not sure need help?

I've heard it is illegal for them to ask for a security deposit, and first and last month rent all at the same time. I heard that they can only do first and security, or last and security, or first and last.. but not all together. Is this not the case in Georgia? I can't find the laws for this online. Thanks!

I would like to know if I was to invest $4000 in this company for the long haul would this be wise and I would like to know if you can buy that may shares of a company from an online trade company. I'm not really familiar with online trading but can you just buy shares in a company and leave it at that or does there have to be a certain amount of activity. thanks for the help

I am confused on this, I am Power of Attorney for my grandparents and in the papers for the Power of Attorney it states that I can sell off land/rent/lease - I am also the only one listed in their will as receiving this land when they pass. I thought about selling off the land since I do not live close to the property and it is just deteriorating since it's now abandoned. The Nursing Home stated to me that I cannot sell the land, if I do- the money goes to the Nursing Home. How could I sell this land without the money going to the nursing home? Do I need to seek a Real Estate Attorney to do this? Thanks for anyones help on this!

Because of medication that I'm required to take and have been on since 1999, since I have no medical insurance, I've had to continually throw the costs of meds on credit cards. I'm making more money now than a month ago in my last job, but I'm still only able to make the minimum payments.

I don't buy useless stuff, just what I need, not want, NEED. My dad is hinting at me to get a place of my own becuz his witch of a wife is putting him up to it. If I didn't have all this debt, maybe, just maybe, I could afford a studio apartment. I know the bankruptcy laws have changed since like 5 years ago or whatever or even less than that, and I know they make it a lot harder for you to get rid of your debt. I don't know what to do. I've contacted non-profit credit card organizations and they just tell me I need to find a job that makes more money. Well, that's really easy for them to say, especially when I don't have a college degree. Do I have a chance?

Let say my car is repossesed, becuase I can not pay it anymore, I know my credit will be hurt, but I heard that if the bank sell it on an auction for less of what I owe then I will have to pay that balance. What happened if I can't pay that balance, I don't have the money to pay it monthly, how come I am going to pay the balance? I live in Florida, what is the law about that.
