They keep saying it in Somerfields. What on earth does it mean?.....or am I just being thick, again.....

It might be code for sales. Where I work, at xmas time some lets us know when we get to £30,000 or more (this is alot more than normal) by saying over the tannoy 'would pat please take a call on line 30'.
'two's company' may mean they have got to £20,000 or hit some other target. Or perhaps an area manager is visiting. Ask next time you hear it.

I've know idea, but most large shops use code words to alert security, different words are different Alerts.
