I have an employee that was out side working in our yard and was changing from his work boots back into his tennis shoes. Something was in his shoe and bit/stung him and his foot is now swolen and the site is tender. We sent him to the doctor, but do not know if this is a "work related incident".

In a verbal agreement with my mother and the landlord. I took over rent in our house. I was never presented with a lease or a contract of any kind. There is no verbal or written. Set date to when the rent is due. I usually pay it around the 10-12th and he seems to have no problem with it. Never says anything to me about it. Anyway this month is tight and I wont be able to make rent until the 14th. Ill have the money that afternoon. Is that too late you think? He has never said i want the rent on the first or before the 20th or anything like that. No specific date.

Agents did the references and reported back to us.This happened in Mid July and they wanted to move in last week. They also wanted whole lot of furnitures left behind, which we agreed. We moved out a week before, but on the day they were supposed to pay deposit/one month rent and move in,they phoned up the agents saying"due to unforeseen circumstances" they cannot proceed with renting it.
I dont know whom to blame and what to do next...
Any advices??

Hello everyone. I had a question about working at home. I currently have a full time job but want to make some extra money working at home. I was looking around and there seems to be some opportunities but I don't know if they are legit. Can anyone who is actually working at home making money let me know of some real opportunities. I had a bad experience once with letter mailing, etc. However, recently, I saw one regarding doing surveys and getting paid for it. Is this legit? It seems way to good to be true. I really need help guys and I would appreciate anyone's input. Thanks!

I see that self employment tax is 15.3% .. is that how much (or maybe 20%) I should hold out of my check in order to pay taxes?? I've seen people suggest holding back as much as 30% of your earnings ... why so much if the self employment tax is only 15.3%??

The mechanic says I have to change the Torq converter with some joints, etc. and with him this will cost me around $1000, if I go to the dealership it will cost me around $2 -$3k or more. I tried to trade-in for another car but my score is 578 and I owe on the truck $25k and they want to give me for it $15-$17k. So it will be upside down from $8-$10k. That is a lot of money. I think I have a lemon car so I think I will give the truck to the bank (voluntary repo), because it is not fair I spend a lot of money on it plus my monthly payment and the truck value is $10k under of what I owe. I know this will damage my credit but I have no options. Do you think later on if I have $3k I can buy another car on a dealer? What do you thin I should do?

Within the next few weeks I will release a self publish book. Some of the books will be sold by myself at fairs and some will be sold by bookshops. The book has a cover price of £17.99, at what price should I offer it to bookshops. I know they can be a bit fly and don`t want to give away any more profit than I have to. Your advice will be gratefully received.

My girlfriend is twenty six and has zero credit. I want to help her build a credit history so we can eventually buy a house. My concern is that while currently my credit is in good standing, and my overall scores are on the upswing I did have a lot of trouble in the past. Would my checkered credit history affect her in a negative way, considering that I am currently in good standing with all of my accounts?
Oh, and I would trust her with all my assets in cash, so that's not a concern at all.
