no problem
If you dont have any or only a few?
You will most likely have to pay

maybe not this year.. but you willl most likely be caught /red flagged/ audited since you need S.S # for all the dependents to be legit

Presuming you are asking about claiming allowances on your Form W-4; always if it results in the correct amount of income tax being withheld from your wages.

Anytime you claim additional allowances on your W-4, it will lower your refund. If you do it too often, you could end up owing money instead of getting any refund when you file.

Suggestion: claim the proper number that you are entitled to all year, then you should about break even at the end of the year.

I would recommend that you do it 6 months out of the year, I mean you're not really saving because it will be deducted at Tax time. The more they take out the nore you get, the less you take out the more you pay back.
